filed against lloyds and it ran out on 8th of may they didnt even aknowledge it so on the 9th i entered judgement against tsb then thought i would leave it a week to see what happens.
Same time scale as you Hookys. And well done!
Lloyds had until 8th to acknowledge ( they didnt)
File for judgement on 9th May.
But called court today to see if judgement had been issued and court said they have a huge backlog and are still working on cases from 3rd May! So lloyds may have indeed acknowledged but it hasnt entered the system yet, worryingly neither has my request for judgement, even though i delivered it in person and has 9th of May stamped on by the courts office. Lady said to wait another 10-14 days to hear from them!
Am getting worried now!0 -
They have acknowledged and defended mine, i feel special :rotfl:
Good luck to you also

Has anyone else had their case acknowledged today looks like they are having a clear out.0

Cheeky aren't they. Bad PR as well looking at all the people who end up on this site. Banks that close accounts are ones to avoid - I would recommend never joining Lloyds on your experience.0

Hi guys
I sent letter to Lloyds TSB to claim £285 fees, which were mainly for going over my overdraft, or bounced payments. I had a letter back saying that They wont refund anything as they feel that the charges were fair and it was my fault to go over my agreed limit. So what do I do now? As Martin says it doesn’t cost them £35 if I go over my overdraft limit so what shall I write in response to their letter? How can I get my fees refunded??
Thanks!!
Send them the 2nd letter as per the template on this site....

Can anyone help me with my question? (Page 123)

Hi I sent a 'letter before action' (stating I would settle for a slightly lower amount) to LLoyds tsb, to their recovery centre, Andover. I haven't had a reply, now what? Do I go to the court stage? I can't really afford to do that until the end of the month. Does it matter if I leave if for a bit? Is there a time limit between actions?
Thanks.
Oh also. If it does get to the court stage. Can I recalculate the charges/interest, because the amount of interest (at 8%) will of changed from the date of my original letter to today (or to when I commence court action). Also they have charged me some more, so I will be adding them on.
Do I need to send another letter to Lloyds saying that I am taking them to court and for how much??
No it doesnt matter if you haave given them longer than the 14 days before you procede to court stage, some people have left it months before they take it to court ( hoping to get a refund in giving more time). Yes when you do fill in your MCOL or N1 claim you recalculate the interest to take it up to the claim date.
If you are on benefits you can apply for fee exemption using form EX160 ( i think)
Best not to leave it too long though, the sooner you file your claim, the sooner the money will be back with you!
GOOD LUCK0
