Good job i got fed up waiting for the statements ( requested on 15th Feb!) I printed them all out from online banking! Am now at the stage where I have requested judgement by default as lloyds have failed to acknowledge ( they had until 8th May)
And finally Saturday 12th May List of charges turns up!!! Glad I didnt wait for them.
I would advise anyone just starting to use their online banking and print them out, otherwise they could be in for a long wait!0 -

makes sense to get them from online banking if you can as it will save you a tenner - don't give them any more money than you need to!!!

Hi, I'm claiming 1185 from Lloyds it's around 1500 with interest. Can someone tell me how much court fees will be as I'm trying to budget for next month and I don't expect Lloyds to just give it me back *sigh*0

i got my 'goodwill gesture' before i filed for court after my 2nd letter.they'll only put in after they write letter to you about it.they'll say its a full and final settlement :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: n put it in your account if they do that write saying you dont accept it as a full and final settlement.do your 2 letters and then file for court.lloyds tend to cave on the court steps.lloyds got til thursday to put defence in on my case.hope they forget me but doubt it cos im not that lucky.good luckjohnnynonails wrote: »hi all just been reading post about lloyds and pple saying they had a good will jesture put into there banks all tho its not wot there asking for, ive sent my letter to lloyds asking for me charges back but havent heard any thing at all back going to have to take them to court just wondering when pple do get a good will jesture is this when they have already filed court proceedings or u just find it in ur bank account wiv out u knowing cheers john0 -

prob between £100 and £150.depends on amount you're claiming.if you're on income support its free but you have to do it at the court house.you can print off forms online tho.you should be able to find out on MCOL how much fees are or at the court house.if you havent done your 2 letters do them cos it helps to prove to courts your trying other ways to resolve the matter and that its lloyds that are dragging their heels!!!!!!:D
and lloyds normally cave on the court steps:mad:   good luck 0 -
I have just got a letter from solicitors of ltsb offering full and final which it is as the claim was less than 500.
In the context of the legal proceedings, I had a June or July court date and had to supply the court the schedule of claim by end May.
So ltsb gave in after two letters, filing the claim with MCOL, they filed their defence. The case was automatically allocated to small claims and we had court date.
I do have a question which is that I have a 2nd account which has charges of 150. I have done two letters (no ltsb reply). shuld I follow standard procedure or should i contact the bank or solicitors and say that since they have settled one claim, will they kindly settle the other?0 -
hi bribri
nice to hear someone has succeeded - Im up to the same point - Ive got a court date in less than two weeks (but I only found out last tues) so Im hoping they will cave in before that!Sealed Pot no 2011

You'll find the links to court costs and exemptions in the Reclaim Help Thread which is linked in my signature.0 -
Thanks for the info. I have sent my 2 letters although I have just over a week until the 14 days is up on the later. My friend has been getting some advice on this from a legal secretary she knows who has claimed her fees back. However she did this by sending letters quoting the law etc. She's put me in contact with her and I'm going to try a 3rd letter with her help and see if that gets me anywhere before taking it to court.
I haven’t banked with Lloyds for 2 years after I got into problems from snow balled bank charges. Which they then told me I had to take as a loan after 6 months with a high interest rate. However this makes me more determined to get my charges back

there's template letters with all legal wordings in it on the home page.send it off asap and give them 14 days.dont let them dictate time scales keep to your time scale.ignore(but keep)letters trying to scare you into stopping your claim ie charges are not penalty charges blah blah blah.wont make much difference tho cos lloyds norm settle on court steps.lloyds charged me £410 in just over 2 monthes jan/feb so i stopped benefits going into account and opened another account .account was bout £400 o/drawn.got £750 back into account(didnt know for 2 weeks) and im stillgoing for the rest(£2500 with interest).dont let them scare you cos you're in the right.good luck0
