i really dont have too much of an idea. i will speak to my friend who works in a solicitors to get the full crack, she did tell me but not sure if i understood it correctly - she said they can apply for whats called a "stay" - she explained that by telling me its bascially a consent form they want you to sign which says you will allow them to get the judgement removed once they have paid up, once they have that back they then have to pay up in your giving time, although im not sure it'll be that easy with LTSB - i'll get plan of action off her today - maybe it only take people longer cause they dont know the exact route of what to take so therefore sit back a bit and give banks leyway.

moneyclaim did say to my other friend whos at same stage as us that they send copy of judgement to solicitors telling them we have won by default and send a copy also to ourselves- give them 1 week to pay if not go for bailiffs - i would prefer to try and get it sorted without that to be honest.

Hi there I am new to this site and need some advice. I sent off my letter and a ten pound postal order to lloyds TSB on the 19th March and have still had no statements. The GMTV website says that I should make a complaint, but I am not sure how to. I have tried phoneing TSB and left messages and still no comeback.

Please if anybody could help me please do

    All the best Andy

To be honest everywhere is taking longer than the 40 giving days due to high demand and there isnt too much you can do bar sit and wait.

do you have online banking? if so you can look back at over 5 years statements via online banking - if you dont have access ring up LTSB to request online banking - normally only takes a week to get a log on number and user details - then you can start your claim - just make it obvious in letter that your claim is only parcial and once you have rest of statement the LTSB have not yet sent out but what you are entitled to by law you will be submitting a further claim.

chances are any way once you receive your statements they will be missing a lot especially the 2001 ones!!

if you pm me your email address i can forward you copies of the 2 letters i sent LTSB (where i done the above) and when i got to moneyclaim part i just put both claims as one

hope this makes sense - may make more sense when you read my 2 letters i sent them
  • Hello all, just a piece of advice needed please! :-)
Lloyds have recently been a major pain in the proverbial... I have had to go on benefits and my income was drastically reduced. I told the bank and asked them to reduce my payments on my CC and loan. They refused point blank and have since swallowed up my benefits with charge after charge. I immediatly opened a new account somewhere else and transfered my benefits and important Direct debits (minus CC and loan).
I am at the court stage of my claim with them, can I ask for any award made by the courts to be made into my new acount or will Lloyds swallow it up as part payment on what I owe them? Many thanks in advance, Tania xx

be careful when asking for bank statements I got 9 envelopes yesterday and another 4 today for details of a bank account I did'nt even ask for. I am sure
they are just waiting my time sending me statements from saving account
since I am 10 months worth missing from current (that I need)
is anybody else having the same problems?

sent the below email to my friend (who works at solicitors) as ive been getting stressed reading various things on various pages ref - what happens after getting judgement

    i said -
think im in for a right on with Lloyds TSB - theres people online who had judgement issued over 3 weeks ago and have heard nothing from banks solicitors. also people saying lloyds are applying to have it "set aside" for 30 days!!

its soooo confusing scared incase i havent won and they get everything cancelled out.

    She replied
THEY CAN NOT GET IT CANCELLED OUT - do not listen to anybody they may not be in the know

Now you have judgement they need your permission to do anything - if they don't pay within the timescales allowed then you are able to enforce against them.

    Don't worry

***feel bit better now - thought once i got to this stage the stress would be over - how wrong am i please****
