Am I right in thinking that if you go to court you will be there on the day with others who are doing the same procedure - a group booking so to speak???

Apparently when you get nearer to the court route its best to put the local bank's address as this is the one that the bailiffs will go to if it gets that far!!

yeah it seems they allocated 5 min slots for court hearings but have a time of say from 9am - and its a first come 1st served basis (dont know from experience only what i've read on threads of people who have actually went to the court)

I have had the same letter today, does anyone know if this means they will file a defence.

"We see from our records .......................and that our solicitors are dealing with this."

    Help

Missc, did you get a letter from LTSB saying that there was nothing more they could do so they have passed it onto their solicitors.

I and several others have had this today..

NO nothing at all - once i filed with moneyclaim i got letter from court with copy of form they sent to SC & M there solicitors, then i got another form through when they acknowledged on the 20th of april - then nothing more.

my customer who filed judgement this morning as well - has had no corrospondence what so ever -nothing not even from te court (i.e. with a copy of letter they sent to SC & M) - she filed judgement this morning and like me confirmed it after 4pm and was told everythin has went through with NO contact from solicitors at all

its all very strange - like the have NO system what so ever, some get the £750 quid others dont (liek us), some get acknowledgement but no defence, some nothing at all - its strange you just cant work out case to case what outcome is going to be.
i never thought in a zillion years they wouldnt defend after acknowledging

also my friend who works in solicitors (for car insurance claims NOT for bank charges etc) helped a collegue with 2 x barclay bank claims - the defended one and didnt defend the other, both were put in courts on same day, both acknowledged on same day but then only put defence on one

so theres no clear pattern for any banks it seems

We had three separate claims with Lloyds, 2 were reimbursed after the 3rd letter - one today just weeks before court hearing (we had the magic settlement letter from SCM today :j Hang in there

this whole £750 is the strangest yet - why offer some and not others?

i totally feel you (sorry that sounds really rude lol - my hubbys african and ive so picked up the phrase off him - clearly think im speaking pidgon english!! :o ) anyway im blabbing but you know what i mean - maybe one of us should get a job in SC & M and could "carefully" loose claims for our MSE maras? Brighton is supposed to be such a lovely place in the summer  :rotfl:

Thanks for that my claim was for £4600, this on one account I haven't looked at another account I had yet. I have also just printed out my wifes statements today and they owe her £600 which I'm now determined to claim. If they had been sensible and settled mine then I wouldn't have bothered with the others.
