Hi,
I really hope someone can advise me on this matter, I have asked previously but dont seem to have had an answer.
Due to leaving work on Maternity Leave I fell into problems paying my Lloyds tsb loan which resulted to my account being passed to a debt collection agency.
As the account is closed with Lloyds tsb, can i still reclaim bank charges??
Any advice would be great..

As far as I know Rachy you can claim back your charges on accounts that are closed, as long as the charges fall within the last 6 years.0

hello all!
basically, my court claim against LloydsTSB for £512.93 (including £80 court fee) was acknowledged on the 7th December, on the 19th i received a letter from Lloyds, saying on this occasion they are prepared to repay me £385.
This was paid into my account 2 days later, before i could turn the offer down....
I was just about to write to them after Christmas, when just before the 28 days were up they submitted a defence...
I'm left wondering how they can repay me some of the money and then submit a defence?
I have my Allocation Questionnaire to fill out, now i'm wondering how to fill this in...do i just follow the guide in the template library on CAG?
How do i go about changing the amount i'm claiming? Just don't know what to do. I've been on CAG but i find it hard to find the answers to some questions on there....:o
any help much appreciated.
thanks

1) You will need to readjust your schedule of charges, take the £385 off your most recent charges.
2)Fill in your AQ exactly as normal, but you will want to attach your new schudule and explain that you have been refunded but wont be accepting, ask the courts to add the new schedule to your claim file.
3) send a letter to ur bank saying that you will accept £385 as part payment but will be reclaiming the full amount, enclose the new schudule of charges as well to them."He's a maniac, maniac that's for sure,

Lloyds seem to be a bit hit and miss with their offers of settlement.
My claim is for just a little more than Robinson79's yet I've got as far as returning my allocation questionnaire without being offered anything!0 -
Hi there,
Lloyds tsb sent me a letter saying they will put the money back in my account without interest, however there letter to me was late and i have already started the moneyclaim proceedings 2 days before. And now lloyds have transferred the money into my account without interest.
What shall i do? its a shame because i feel like ive wasted £80 doing the moneyclaim online thing. Im not sure if i can take them to court for the interest remaining, i dont really know what to do0 -
Hmmm am not to sure about this one... It may be an idea to call the money claim website number up ? 0845 601 59350

Bank: Lloyds TSB
Amount Reclaimed: £700
Amount they paid: £700
The story:
2 letters sent, Lloyds were not going to pay up, received acknowledgement of claim, then solicitors form enclosing allocation questionaire on Thursday last week, Went onto online banking Friday evening, money had been put into my account. On the same day, they also took £35 returned S/O fee, £7 Account charge and £60 Excess Fee.... Should i reclaim and should i close the bank account now?
Also received letter stating they are taking £120 charges next month for returned standing orders (when they were cancelled online) Am going to need to claim these back when they debit my account??0
