no defence entered as yet - dont think my heart can handle anymore - have until midnight to do so

spoke to my friend who works for a solicitors and she said when they defend they have to do so by 4pm as thats when courts close, but she wasnt sure on moneyclaim - think its until 12 midnight as previous people have said as when you log on obviously theres a bit for the defendant to click on.

its doing my ticker no good - just want to know!!!

Good Luck... Hopefully the won't file the defence...

    Let us know tomorrow

    Hi missc

Don't want to put a dampner on things but a defence was entered on our claim at around 10.30pm.
We are now waiting a court date as it has been referred to the local court.
LLoyds are not the only ones waiting to the last minute - HSBC entered their defence at 11.45pm.
I think they issue them from a central computer and deliberately wait until to the last minute to press enter.
Can't wait to get my money back and park outside the branch in my lovely new car that Im going to buy with the money!:p

I really hope you are the exception the rule and you can claim by default.

We will be the same on Friday when Marbles' 28 days are up.

to b honest im not expecting to get away with it - never that lucky so am totally prepared for defence to come on at stupid time as lloyds are gits. but u just never know it's happening a but more lately than previously. we'll see.

its sooooo annoying though - driving me mad ive become obsessed with moneyclaim site now - logged in permanetly re freshing page every ten mins - at least if i knew either way i could get on with my life lol - oh sorry this is now my life!! like the blooming trueman story except im living my life through a pc :rotfl:

I think we might have found a way round the late defence, can anybody answer this question if we apply to the court do they have to do the same
rather than fill in the online? I reckon this would be harder for them.
does anybody fancy putting it to the test? I have another week to wait
before I can take them to court

if you go to court they have till 4pm - my friend works for a solicitors and said any defence / acknowledgment you do must be in by 4pm otherwise its filed as the following day

so yeah its a way around it but would assume they have seperate dept to deal with claims via court so will be on the ball with that side as well as the moneyclaim side

dont really think you can beat the system just hope your lucky enough to be one that slips through the net

    Hi all,

I just wanted some advice, if possible. I know everyone is in a similar situation and quite busy with their own claims. I got my statements with 6 months missing information. I wrote another letter to Lloyds and at the weekend received statements again, this time with 11 months missing. I have statements now up to September 2001 (I asked for March 2001 onwards). Should I write to Lloyds again asking, again, for the missing statements or should I write to the information commissioner now that they haven't provided what I asked for in the time scale they give?
I'm very tempted to go to my local branch telling them I want the information as I have paid for it - but could easily get turned away being told that they can't access statements from 6 years ago.

    PLEASE HELP. THANKS.

Any thoughts on this would be appreciated please.

still not defended as yet but like previous post from i think golddigger:o hope thats right - theres wasnt defended until 10.30pm!!! total gits so im not home and dry yet - still time for them - NOT logging on to moneyclaim again - going to bed at 11pm and gonna get my man to log on at midnight see what crack is - whatever outcome so be it just means i can either get money sooner or later either way is cool with me (although i AM Brassed and could do with it NOW) LOL

that happened to me ref statements so what i done was put in claim for what i had statement wise but stated in the letter that this is a parcial claim due to LLoyds TSB NOT sending all the statement and that once you recieve the statements you will be sendin in a 2nd claim - means you can get one under way. i then sent a letter 2 weeks later with the 2nd claim - again making it obvious that it was the 2nd part of the claim and not full amount.

i then bunched claim together once i had refusal letter

sorry if it sounds long winded - hope it makes sense

i rang up statement dept and asked for the specific months - was very polite on the phone and sympathised with them - then i got them through within a couple of days.
