Hiya,
I am in exactly the same position as you with LTSB. The notification from the Ct says they have until 13th May, which is of course a Sunday so can I file for Judgement at 1 minute past midnight on 13th or do I have to wait until 1 minute past midnight going into 14th?
Please advise.
Thank you
If you are unsure about the dates etc call the MCOL helpdesk, I called last week and the lady explained everything, she was very helpful, I think they are getting sick of Lloyds taking the pi**.
She explained that as with mine the 14 days expires on a Saturday (19th May) then they will have until midnight on the following Monday to file a defence which I was surprised at.
Good Luck....0 -
Have a read of Beate's post in the Reclaim Help Thread which is linked in my signature, regarding the timings for MCOL.
You'll also find a guide to the AQ there and a link to further court costs. If you claim is more than £1500 there is a further £100 to pay at the AQ stage or in fact even if the AQ is dispensed with but like the MCOL costs these are reclaimable.0 -
Has anyone had sucess with LloydsTSB. I have just sent off for a statement of my charges under the data protection act. I would like to know who has managed to get their charges back from Lloyds?
Hi
Just a bit of moral support and to let people know my latest with LloydsTSB. Sent my request off for bank statements recorded delivery and waited! About 3 weeks later I received a letter from the bank stating that they would send me my documents within 3 weeks. Needless to say I received nothing so I sent them a letter (as per template) requesting statements within 5 working days or I would report them to Information Minister DPA. 3 days later I received a A5 brown envelope with my name and address hand written. Upon opening up there were 8 sheets of paper and a covering letter from LloydsTSB. The 8 sheets of paper were a summary of bank charges for the past 6 years. I noticed that some people had received dozens of envelopes from some banks full of statements but in my case LloydsTSB had actually only sent me the actual charges so I did not have to sift through reams of paper. Not only that but they have invited me to claim or request further statements going back earlier! Not sure what tactic this is but now unsure whether to claim my 6 years (which comes to under £250) or claim further and add it all together. Anyway just thought I would add my bit which is recent. Good luck everyone and if someone could advise me as to whether I should just claim for the 6 years or go back further - I would appreciate that.

Hi, I would like to know if anyone has received a copy of the banks defence as mine came in the post today so I am now getting quite worried that I may be the first person to lose their case against any bank, that would be just my luck!
Hi, I have the same feeling to be honest, but after reading everyones postings at the moment I think we are all inthe same boat and YB are just being really hard about it all. I think we should all sit tight and not give in!!!! Good luck x0 -
Im new to this so i may be slow. I have just recieved statement entries for the last 6 years, which i must say are less than i remembered. The statements have dates then "Descpn" which is O/Draft interest or Account charge or O/Draft excess fee then a nominal amount that ranges from 0.94 DR upto 80.00 DR . Do i just add them all up and request the refund or are there some i cannot reclaim. Im confused , can anyone help ??0

Go and look on the reclaim bank charges thread, there is a thread on there that tells you what you can claim. Dont forget to use Martins interest calculator to add up the interest.Mel :heartpuls0 -
Well the courts are messing about nearly as much as LTSB I think,,,,I had my MCOL transferred to the local court with a hearing date and advising me I had to pay a further £100, I rang on Friday to pay the £100 but they said i have to write in or fax and with a contact number and then they will contact me to pay the AQ fee. Even though the AQ has been dispensed with !!!
So I have to wait now for me to be contacted by the courts and then I will pay but I am not sure what the next step is ................I have had no payments offered.

Have you not been offered the £750 as many others. If not surely this is more evidence against LTSB as to why they should offer some people and not others.0 -
Nope i have been offered nothing I had had no correspondance from the bank apart from the standard letters of stalling.................
