The Gets!
They have defended my claim for £1008.00. I filed it over a month ago. MCOL has now been halted! It will now be transferred to my local court within 5 days and I then have to wait for a court date!!!! Could be months!!! I then have been told I have to attend the court date. I'm with you in going to Watchdog this is the poorest customer service EVER.0 -
Hi
Looking fo help re reclaming in scotland, the small claims court is limited to £750, but my claim for charges from lloyds is for £2500 and fom cahoot is £2000. Anyone filed with small calims for more and what success have you had.0 -
Hi folks, I see many people on here claiming £1000s, but I'm only claiming £395 over 5 years. Does that make me a poor banker or something, or a good banker or what I'm confused lol:rotfl:
Rest in Peace, Emily. Say hi to Robbo for me xxx

I just phoned the normal bank phone number, and ask the lady, had a rant about how it has been well over 40 days, and I wanted to know what was happening
she tried to transfer me but come back saying I would have them within 7 days. So will wait and see!0 -
hi
I am a newbie and i find all these posts so inspiring as i am heavily in debt and have just pulled my head out from the sand to sort them out, I am with Lloyds TSB and have been for 15 years. They refuse to increase my overdraft but continue to charge excessive bank charges every month which puts me over my limit. I am going to try and reclaim my charges now afetr reading this I think it should be a small fortune and would certainly help me out no end. Do i have to change bank accounts and how easy is it to get a bank to accept you when you have defaults against you. I am geting help from the cccs and am determined to get my life back to normal
very happy to meet you all0 -

I put in my request for statements for 4 accounts on 29th January and only received 3 years worth for one account, nothing for the other three. Spent more than 4 hours on the phone to various people asking for the statements but they still haven't arrived. I've reported it as a breach of the Data Protection Act and have gone ahead with MCOL on first account using estimated charges. Did state in court papers that had had no response from LTSB whatsoever therefore requested charges for 6 years were double that of 3 years. Court accepted that and I'm all set for a judgement tomorrow as LTSB still haven't acknowleged papers. Move on to next letter, they're just stalling for time.
JoBank Charges - MCOL – LTSB Current Account £4,603.92 / Settled £5,680.76 /Financial Ombudsman – LTSB £11,715.84
PPI - Debenhams / Settled - £2243.20We're in the money!!!:T :beer:0 -
Thank god for the CCCS. They saved my life. Before you start Id take a deep breath and prepare for the long haul. Its money you don’t have so don’t rely on it as it a long draw out process with TBS. Who knows you might be one of the luck ones and get paid straight away.:cool:0

martin suggests you open a parachute (is that spellt right?) account before you start, alliance+lecisture is the better option higher interest, 0% overdraft, but its all upto you as they MIGHT close your account 70% of claimers stay safe after claimingI am geting help from the cccs and am determined to get my life back to normal
very happy to meet you all
you cannot lose!! if you follow martins article to the letter you cannot fail.
good luck!Rest in Peace, Emily. Say hi to Robbo for me xxx
