Hi, I have my own claim that they acknowledged but have as yet not defended due to run out on Mon/Tues too !!!
The claim I have that they have put in a defence for is for my daughter only 170 of your measly pounds but a lot to a uni student
How much have they spent already with this claim? Lloyds shareholders can rest assured their shares are in good hands!!! How much for a solicitor etc ... what plonkers

they soooooo bug me - mine was acknowledged the day after you - im sure they will put in a defence - thing is court dates are months away (someone has just got a date of 2nd aug!!!) thats a further 3 months wait.

feel like emailing bbc's watchdog to get them to investigate Lloyds TSB as most other banks seem to not be as stupid as they are or to drag it on.

the lady below your quote (sorry doing a reply and cant remember name :o ) - its totally ridiculous taking to court for £170 - lloyds are pulling the p*ss - im surprised its got so far for the amount - but like you say obviously the "share holders" must be aware of this!!

i think they dont know there a*se from the elbow - i think they cant handle the amount of claims hence letting ones for less than a grand go to court stage (as they used to settle these several months ago) was only ever the larger ones they took to court

i've got one for my partner which is £515
    and mine is £1,100
they have already paid him a goodwill gesture of £750
but i'm going for the rest
i don't know why they are letting it go to court
surely its costing them a fortune in court fees
oh well courts are minted anyway now!!!!!!!!!

pardon my english but banks, just like all companies, operate in ways that benefit themselvs and not its customers (logic is that if they're making profit, why change).

more than likely in the long run they profit by going all the way to try to back you down from claiming, its the only answer i can think of so prasumably the banks have worked out that some people are backing down after a court stage has been approved, worth it for the banks especially for large claims... i presume the banks made the first payment because they're trying to stop you from claiming

i havent even had a £750 good will gesture offered as yet (im claiming £2607 + interest = £3200)

in fact letter 1 nothing - letter 2 standard reply so hit courts and had NO money letters or anything from them

Me neither had any goodwill gesture...been going on since mid jan and they have defended now in last court stages but still nothing (thought they might give me a little to tire me over!!!) and they defended begining of april and still no court date, i have kept in contact with local court and everything is going to plan even sent sechari clark and mitchell everything i sent to court in bundle, guess they are waiting to surprise me but the interest is increasing by the day....good luck missc lets see who they choose first between us cause there doesn't seem to be an order of 1st come 1st serve:confused:
