 Hi All
LTSB's time runs out to lodge a defence on Wednesday - I've claimed £4,603 so praying they won't and I am in the money!!! Can't believe the arrogance of them, they have only sent me statements for 3 years for current account, nil for other 3 accounts. have written in request letter that if 3 years worth is £2,241 then will assume 6 years is £4,481 (court charge to be added on). Once this one is settled, will file claim for further 3 accounts. Have already sent letters re other 3 to TSB with estimates (totalling £8,500) as they haven't answered but time has run out - just can't afford to file for all 4 at same time.
Wish me luck!!!
Jo

Good luck Jo,
I have one claim that they filed a defence for about ten days ago, I've heard nothing yet from that one. And another that they have acknowledged but so far not entered a defence..... hoping they miss this one as they must be so busy :rotfl:0 -

do you think they can't afford to take on any more staff as they're paying out so much in solicitors fees???

Do tell us a bit more about that. It sounds quite unusual. At what point did they 'invite' you to reclaim? What did the letter say. If the bank intimates that you can claim and then later tell you that their charges are fair, surely they are digging themselves into a legal hole. I would be interested in finding out more
It was the letter they sent with our statements/charges list. (This was incomplete) The paragraph goes: You may now wish to proceed with your claim for reimbursement of charges but, if you do feel you need further statements, this will take longer to access our archived data.
I hadn't said anything to them re claiming up to this point. You can see where i got my hopes up. Yes?0 -
Hi can anyone advise
I have three accounts with the Yorkshire, mine, my husbands and our joint accounts.
When I send my claim in, do I claim all three as seperate or as all together???
Please help so I can get my claim sent in!!!!!
Thanks

Hi All.
Well i have just sent the bank a 14day letter requesting £3040 plus £390.81 in interest.
I had a moan to my manager last week about the charges they are giving me like the £450 charges tomorrow  and she suggested i write in and request them back as they now have a dedicated team looking into these charges.
I also said i was worried that they would close my account but she told me that they are not allowed todo that and just put my claim inso we will see what happens in the next 14 days.
By the way does this mean 14 working days or any days ?Bankrupt 1st June 2009
No **** of 2009 :beer:0 -
