Lloyds TSB has out in a defence and this morning I recieved a photocopy of thier defenceand a note saying it has been transferred to my local court. What happens now do I need to contact the court or will they be contacting me?

Your local Court will contact you so you don't have to worry.

Can I suggest, and this is just from my own experience and still on going experience with Lloyds, that if you have any further questions log onto www.consumeractiongroup.com. They have loads of information there and also it is split into all the different banks and building society's. You will probably find your questions are answered quicker there as they do seem to have people around all the time.

liddled: don't get upset because no-one has answered your question. Perhaps no-one has been on here and noticed, perhaps no-one can answer your question. If you don't follow the letters in order and just send this, that and the other all out of sequence then you are likely to mess up. Go and register on CAG and follow everything on there. You need to start your own thread and you'll have people popping in and out giving you advice. They have been a massive help to me and hundreds of other people. I have been chasing my bank since last July - it does take time! Patience is a virtue, believe me.

The telephone number for the copy statement department I think is 0121 633 5476.

    Good Luck....

The Oh is claiming just over £1,000, my son £350.

If Lloyds dispute it and we have to take them to court is it worth it for this amount or should we accept their decision to not pay?
I'm stressed enough over this - please don't add to it.

I am a member of CAG and followed the standard letters waiting for the days as stated. I'm now at the stage of going for court action.

    Thanks..

    HI

When you write to the companies give your full nam, date of birth and all prev addresses you lived at. There will be a record of you on the database.

Send your letters recorded delivery and keep on at them.

    Hope this helps

I rang the Lloyds 24 hour helpline today to request the Copy statement Unit telephone number. The guy I spoke to was really defensive (which I expected). He gave me a rubbish number. I had a look at the first letter I got sent from Lloyds and low and behold, at the bottom of the letter, in tincy wincy writing, the number for the registered office in London was on there. I rang through and got reception, told her who I wanted to speak to and she transferred me. I got an answer message saying the number I had dialled was no longer in use. Rang through to reception in London and she transferred me to another department. I got through this time and was amazed that the woman I spoke to there, Vicky, was so bloody lovely. We spent about 45 minutes on the phone not even talking about what I had rang for. She was soooo nice. I was expecting a bit of hostility. The best thing is, their 40 days was up today and she promised that she had processed my query for the lost statements and they would be on my mat in the next couple of days!! (I'll wait and see on that one, maybe I was being really naive and she used that to make me believe she would sort it out. She was fantastic on the phone though)
  • Hi everyone, Nice to meet you

    Help need if pos

Just going through a claim for someone and need abit of advice on what I can claim, Also, I sent off for my charges using Martins template and got the sheets back today. What is the likeyhood on them missing/fiddling afew charges out cos according to this, there wasn't one single unlawful charge from 2001-end2003 which im pretty sure there was.

Heres one part of the charges sheet and would be gratefull if someone can give me advice on what I can claim because im unsure on the O/D excess fee's:

    1/4/05 UNPAID D/D 64.00DR
    1/4/05 ACCOUNT CHARGE 10.00DR
    3/5/05 O/DRAFT INTEREST 7.48DR
    3/5/05 O/DRAFT EXCESS 25.00DR
    FEE
    3/5/05 UNPAID D/D 320.00DR
    3/5/05 ACCOUNT CHARGE 10.00DR
    1/6/05 O/DRAFT INTEREST 4.35DR
    1/6/05 O/DRAFT EXCESS 25.00DR
    FEE
    1/6/05 UNPAID D/D 64.00DR
    1/6/05 ACCOUNT CHARGE 10.00DR

Now, As you can see theres an unpaid d/d charge of £320 which seems abit much for a charge. It cant be a typo can it? seen as its all done by computer unless somethings has been altared??

    Any advice is welcome

    Thanks in advanced

    Tony
