Hi everyone, Nice to meet you

    Help need if pos

Just going through a claim for someone and need abit of advice on what I can claim, Also, I sent off for my charges using Martins template and got the sheets back today. What is the likeyhood on them missing/fiddling afew charges out cos according to this, there wasn't one single unlawful charge from 2001-end2003 which im pretty sure there was.

Heres one part of the charges sheet and would be gratefull if someone can give me advice on what I can claim because im unsure on the O/D excess fee's:

    1/4/05 UNPAID D/D 64.00DR
    1/4/05 ACCOUNT CHARGE 10.00DR
    3/5/05 O/DRAFT INTEREST 7.48DR
    3/5/05 O/DRAFT EXCESS 25.00DR
    FEE
    3/5/05 UNPAID D/D 320.00DR
    3/5/05 ACCOUNT CHARGE 10.00DR
    1/6/05 O/DRAFT INTEREST 4.35DR
    1/6/05 O/DRAFT EXCESS 25.00DR
    FEE
    1/6/05 UNPAID D/D 64.00DR
    1/6/05 ACCOUNT CHARGE 10.00DR

Now, As you can see theres an unpaid d/d charge of £320 which seems abit much for a charge. It cant be a typo can it? seen as its all done by computer unless somethings has been altared??

    Any advice is welcome

    Thanks in advanced

    Tony

Hi Jak just seen your post from Nov '06. How did you get on with Lloyds? I've just asked them for my list of charges. They've sent them to me along with a letter asking if I wish to proceed with my calim to get re-imursed? Do they generally send this letter or did you get something different?
    Thanks
    Joe
  • Hi there,
I had that letter saying I may now wish to re claim my charges. I thought it sounded quite positive at the time. Thought that things were going to be easy. However when I asked them to reimburse they then wrote to say charges are fair and that they are not paying. I am filing my court papers on monday.

Do tell us a bit more about that. It sounds quite unusual. At what point did they 'invite' you to reclaim? What did the letter say. If the bank intimates that you can claim and then later tell you that their charges are fair, surely they are digging themselves into a legal hole. I would be interested in finding out more

Looks like we will be doing the court route if they don't pay up as the son said even for £350 he's doing it.
I'm stressed enough over this - please don't add to it.
