There is a further fee for the allocation questionnaire if the claim is above a certain limit (£1500 I believe but don't quote me!)

Lloyds will state at some point they want 28 days to "try" to resolve the matter, during this time write a letter to the solicitors and send a copy to the court too for reference stating that you wish to enter conversation on settling the matter amicably and without the need for court intervention, they will ignore it but it will go in your favour with the courts.

Once the court has both allocation questionnaires back then a court date will be allocated, as this draws closer Lloyds will settle as there is no-where else left for them to run

Thank you - so i assume this isnt going to be resolved any time soon? :(

if they threatne to close your account , then simply offer to pay the OD back in installments overtime . I think the majority of people DO NOT have their accoutns closed .

You need to go to: https://www.moneyclaim.gov.uk/csmco2/index.jsp

and select "I am a Claimant" , then "I am a new Customer" , then set up the instructions to open an account. Simply fill in your details of claim then copy and paste the particulars of claim from this website.
  • Hi,

I have today recd back my statements/lists including all charges etc and this may seem really thick but i have a couple of unpaid DD that are showing up as DR on my lists. For 140.00, not sure if this has actually been debited or is just showing up that its an upaid dd??

Actually reads as 03012006 chg unpaid d/d 140.0DR.

Should i include this in my list??

    Thanks
  • Hi,

I was wondering if you could help me. I bank with Lloyds TSB and have a loan with them, due to leaving work for maternity leave and having a severe drop in income i offered them reduced payments which they wouldnt accept and passed to a Debt Collection Agency.

My account with them is now closed and i did open an account with another bank, my question is, can i still reclaim these charges back on this account even though it is now being held with a debt collection agency for the money outstanding.

    Any advice would be appreciated

    Rach
  • Hi

Have many people had successes/problems with reclaiming bank charges from Lloyds TSB? Also, can you keep your account open as normal afterwards or has anybody had their account closed as a result of this reclaiming?

I'm wanting to reclaim off Lloyds but need some encouragement first!!!!!

    Many Thanks!

  • Please can someone just tell me this is right. Have got my back records from Lloyds but they have always let us have a HUGE authorised overdraft. So when we got near the limit we just rang up and they extended it! Consequently the only claimable charges I can see are £22.32 unauthorised fees - made up to £77.32 with interest! Am I right in assuming that the interest charged on the authorised overdraft is non claimable together with the normal monthly account charge.
Will still go for the £77 though!

thats correct , you cant claim for interest accrued on an authorised overdraft ( shame ) , you can only claim for the fees you have stated above, unless you have any unpaid referralls or bounced cheques etc ..
