Can you claim back charges from closed accounts? If so I will dig out my statements from my old LTSB account and see what they might owe me!
Thanks0 -

Yes. Any accounts you've held in the last six years can be claimed from whether the account is open or closed now.How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?

Helping my son claim back his bank charges. The bank responded today (14th day from posting  ) to our first letter, making the initial claim. Their response was that they did not agree with our claim.
Second letter giving notice of intent to take legal action ready to post.:shhh:
Has anyone had success with a claim against Lloyds TSB recently?
How likely is it that Lloyds TSB will close the account?
About to investigate reclaiming credit card charges as a result of the bank reversing the direct debit payments due to going over the bank account overdraft limit. :wall: This snowball effect has resulted in serveral hundred pounds of charges in the last few months. Both the banks and credit card companies have been approached by phone and a personal visit to the bank with no real help or advice offered to my son. :exclamati0 -
Watch out for the Lloyds TSB charge your socks off trap
I have just arrived home to a letter on my floor from Lloyds TSB advising me that they have not paid a £15.00 Standing Order as it would take my account £18.00 over my Overdraft limit. then on the back of the letter they add in smaller print that for this privilage they have charged me £30.00:rotfl:

hi
it's my 16th day since posting the 1st letter (with charges) as i've heard nothing i've today posted the second one (threatening court action) for the total of £3200. it's reasuring to know that i'm not alone as i had a terrible time with my bank back last summer and because of my ignorance didn't persue it.
my question is this please - how do you know which court to name (i've just put my nearest one - is this right?) please?
thanks in advance!what goes around comes around
