ITS THE only way these tw*ts will pay up. LLoyds are just RIDICULOUS - they could save them selves a load of money (i.e. in paying interest and court costs) as most of us would settle for the charges amount or a bit less - anyway gonna stop now before i go onto my normal full RANT about them - deep breath - chill :rotfl:
why are you paying respect to lloyds by honoring them higher case in their name "eg, LLoyds". uurrgghhhhh! i hate having to do that! its not like they deserve itRest in Peace, Emily. Say hi to Robbo for me xxx

Have just received confirmation that Lloyds will be defending my claim for £3,621 in full.
Already gone through all the stages, and from looking at previous posts and my own experience, it appears the 'letter threatening court action' seems to get no response when dealing with these toe rags!
Just waiting to hear the date for court hearing. Will keep you posted.0 -
Hiya,
Im in the process of claiming back 1700 for my MIL but im worried she won't take it any further of fear of having to go to court
She already had her 6years worh of statements so we sent off the 1st letter, asking for the charges back...they replied quite promptly saying sorry she wasn't happy and they were looking into her complaint blah blah blah...when there time was up we sent the 2nd letter saying that as she didnt recieve a satisfactory response,if they didn't pay up within the next 14 days she would start court proceedings against them for the money. Again, they replied quickly but with another fob off letter! Feels like we not getting anywhere atall with this and MIL is getting freaked about the prospect of going to court. What do we do now..the last letter we sent to them stated that if they didn't pay up within 14 days we would start the court proceedure going...guess that means that thats what we have to do? Or do we write again giving them a final 7 days first?
Another question...if she does end up having to go to court (if she continues, that is!) does she have to speak atall,y'know, state her case ect...and how long will it go on for? She suffers with bad arthritus, mostly in her legs so when she goes out anywhere its in a wheelchair as she struggles to walk...will this mean she might not have to physically go to the court itself?
Sorry for long post but I really want her to win this, she deserves it so much and really could use abit of good fortune at the mo.

Hi there I'm not really qualified to answer, but I am claiming for my daughter and hoping if it gets to court that I can represent her as she is away studying. I'm sure they would let you speak for your MIL, it would be such a shame if she missed out on what is after all rightfully hers.
Good luck x0 -

welcome to the we hate the bank club !! (best not mention the name again)
Its like I have mentioned on several of my quotes can we not go to press with the information we have and let there share holders know how they are wasting their money.
I'm filing court action tomorrow night they have ignored all my letters up to know.0 -
Lloyds put a defence in with me last Friday and so I called MCOL asking when I will recieve the Allocation Questionairre. To my surprise the clerk said that they are now disposing of the Questionairre with Banks and are transfering them directly to the peoples Court. Is this a good or bad thing? I'm guessing good.0

GUESS they'll justify it by saying for every 1 that they have to pay out on (interest and court costs) theres 10 that get scared and back down.
i have no idea how you would go to press? its already been in the news and on various prog and in papers and its not stopping them is it. at end of day they dont care do they and the share holders obviously have plenty of money anyway - they must have to be a share holder in the first place0 -
I have been sending letter after letter to Lloyds requesting a reclaim of £1113 (including interest) I have 1 letter back and now I am being ignored.
I have just started my claim to court lets hope this helps0 -
They just ignored my letters too - I started MCOL today hoping to get £4325 back from the robbing B*&^%$^S0
