    Hello

Can anyone tell me how long after having the judgement entered Lloyds take to pay up? I've just rung them and they are unable to give me a deadline. Mind you she did say they have had well over 6,000 claims!!!

    Can anyone help?

I sent my first letter to my local tsb on 16th March and followed this up with my 2nd letter on the 10th April and have not had a single reply.

Both letters sent by recorded delivery of which i have the reciepts but i am worried as i now have to register my claim on line but the bank have not entered into any corrospondance

Do i need to phone them up or is this lack of a reply just another tactic to put me off..has this happened to anyone else?

    Hey all,

Lloyds do seem to really drag this out to the death!

Just to let you know where I am in my pursuit against Lloyds.

Sent of initial letter asking for charges back on 05/02/07 (Fobbed right off)
Sent letter before court action on the 21/02/07 (No reply)

I had to wait until I got paid to fork out £120 needed to file court action.
Went through MCOL on the 21/03/07 which was acknowledged on the 03/04/07.
Defence put in by Lloyds on the 09/04/07. Grrrrr!

Soon after I received a notice of transfer letter from MCOL stating this is being automatically transferred to Worthing county court.

On friday 20/04/07 I had a letter from the court (Notice of allocation to the small cliams track).

The letter says District Judge ****** has considered the statements of case and allocated the claim to the small claims track.
The hearing of the claim will take place at *** on the 4th June at stated court and should take no longer than 5 minutes.

Really happy as I thought the court date would be in July sometime, I'm also happy that I did not have an allocation questionaire to fill out!!

I am claiming £1800.00 which inc interests + costs, I keep checking my a/c to see if they have paid up but as yet they haven't.

My advice would be to go all the way and don't be tempted to drop the case through fear of not wanting to go to court, it won't happen..

I will keep you all posted of what happens next?

    Good luck

    Taff ;)

    Hi Taffy.

I noticed you got a court order and won, WITH interest. my charges (inc interest) totalls aprox £450, and £395 without interest (aprox), i heard the courts may think im being greedy and close the case without getting the banks to pay me back anything

what should i do, is it worth the risk (if any)

THIS IS not unusual - go to the court stage - you have followed the templates and dont everything right. Wouldnt bother calling them - its just the normal Lloyds drag things on or ignore folk

best get on moneyclaim get it sorted and the ball rolling

I held an account with Lloyds from about 1999 til 2004 and only have very few statements. I have rang the customer service helpline and they cannot find my details, is there any way I can retrieve statements? Isn't there some legislation that states how long they must retain information?

    Hi,
Can anyone help - i cant find anything about this on the site but excuse me if i am just being blind. Lloyds have sent me a response to my second letter saying that because the charges they are applying are for going over my overdraft they are not 'default charges' and therefore are not covered by any guidelines - is this just flannel to put me off or has something changed?

    many thanks for any help

Ignore this as this is the standard reply, on earlier pages in this thread someone has typed out the standard fob off letter that they send to everyone.

    Go for it.

I have now read hundreds of comments and there only appears to be Lloyds TSB who are messing people around. I was called by their collections department last night because I owe them £11 (wish I have forgotten to pay) I had a heated conversation with them explaining that they owe me thousands to be told to go to my local branch and they would give me it all back... COMPLETE RUBBISH... but I enjoyed the argument....

    Good Luck!!!
