I agree whats the point they are only trying to make a couple of months interest from our money and thats not going to be more than the court costs and all the extra paperwork so why???

Other banks are paying out straight away a colleague of mine was payed by Barclays after her fist letter.

Can we not get to gether and go to the press.

Hey i'd love to - imagine!! front page of the tabliods lol

Once i have any form of corrospondence from there solictors (i.e. a contact tel number) im gonna ring them up and ask why they are doing this etc - lets save ourselves time and money.

Stupid thing is my claims for £2700 (£3200 with interest) - i would have settled for £2500 pre court.

Like someone was saying on consumer advice forum - what do the share holders think of LLoyds costing them more money (i.e. solicitors fees and having to pay court costs and interest) (obviously i know these share holders will be RICH as but still do they realise Lloyds tactic)

Soooo annoying when we know we'll get our money - day i post on success stories is the day i'll be happiest chick alive

    hi there all

just a quick question as i have filed my small claim it was issued on 19th of april are lloyd tsb liable to now pay interest and court fees if i win

Accept the money but only as a part payment and without prejudice and inform them by letter that you will be claiming the remainder in court.

I wish they would offer me something, their time runs out on Wednesday when I will then file for court action.

    Good Luck...

Hi Liddled, thanx for your advice, really appreciate it - will go with it, going to send another letter now, to say that will accept cheque as part payment, without prejudice, but that my original letter requesting a list of all charges still stands from the date that I sent it. Good luck, hope you get something before having to file!
Back in debt, but refusing that let that smile be turned upside down! :o

Not as bad as the original £23k, but here goes:
    Next Directory - £799 - 26.49% HSBC Credit Card - £720 - £24.9% Barclay Credit Card - £900 - :confused:Mum - £1379 - 18^ (not mother hen charging, but her credit card!)

You will get the court costs, but I would also like to know about the interest as I'm filing my court papers this week.

    Good Luck!!!!!!

    " success storie

hi, after watching all the media coverage about bank charges i decided to reclaim all of mine. i rung the financial ombudsman gave him my name branch name acount number and sort code. few weeks later got a letter from lloyds saying the were looking into my complaint and then after that, as office of fair tradeing ahve given banks 8 weeks to pay up i recieved a letter saying they were paying my refund back into my account
all £2723 of it and that was it"

this guy seems to have had quick success with Lloyds - anybody know what the crack is with the office of fair trading giving banks 8 weeks to pay up?????
