Oh OK,daft question I know but 14 days from the Acknowledgement or from when I hear from Lloyds solicitor?? Thanks for your info/help.And Good Luck to you for your claim.
from the date the claim was issued (therefore is it was 3rd april = you add 5 days on which is time period allowed to deliver the claim - then 14 days (which they have to defend/acknowledge) then 14 days on that)
therefore 33 days from 3rd of April - so i get that to around 5th of May
hope this helps - ithis info should be pretty much 100% correct as i got info off moneyclaim0 -

Hi all,
Just a quick question. Im claiming on 2 accounts with lloyds, 1 joint account and 1 sole account in hubby's name.
When i sent the letter asking for money back i put both letters in the same envolope. I have had a reply back for the joint account saying get lost but nothing for the sole account. Its now gone past the 14 days.
So its now onto the next step. So with these next letters would it be better to send them separate and recorded? and if it went even further would i have to make 2 separate claims online?
Oh and also when i put in the claim i put on the interest as well was that the right thing to do?
Sorry it was suppposed to be a quick question but it didnt quite turn out that way! lol0 -
this is funny! iv just been into YB to start about them taking £75.00 in charges for being £1.99 overdrawn they put it back on - but nonetheless whilst i was having this sorted i heard a girl who works there say to a customer about getting the £10.00 statements for the 6 years she said you might as well its worth it as they pay up ha ha thats from someone who works for them!0

Phoned the court helpline, advised us to fill out a N244 form to ammend and a N1,and enclose cheque for £35.They will re serve the claim again. Then it gives Lloyds another 14 days.At least I wont look an idiot in court now...lol0 -
I was wondering if any one can help, last month I reclaimed my bank charges from Barclays with little problems. I have recently sent a letter to Lloyds along with list of charges, it totaled about £850.
I have just recieved a reply in it it states "The Office O f Fair Trading has published new guidelines on crdeit card default charges. We're still talking it through with them, but the important point is that the guidelines are about 'default' charges that people pay when they break an agreement with us. This doesn't apply to your charges as these were for dealing with your request to go over your agreed overdraft limit. They are not default charges because you haven't broken your agreement. They are our prices for the service we provide in these situations.'
So basically they are not gonna pay!!! The thing I dont understand is that the times I got charged were when I went over my overdraft, I didnt ask for permission prior to going over!!!
Can anyone shed any light on this???
Thanks NickyCompetition wins...:j
