 Checked online, and LLoyds have acknowledged my claim for court. The problem is I have realised that I have included the £7.00 charges for the select account.Does this mean I have to start all over again?? Will my claim be thrown out?? What do I do,I feel a right idiot now.....
Help on this would be greatly appreciated.

    GOOD LUCK!!

    Keep us informed.

How long did you have to wait to get a court date.

not got court date yet - issued claim on 5th april - have until 24th for acknowledge or defend - which no doubt they will do come the 24th at 4.59pm!!! if they dont then i can issue the judgement on 25th - hoping they've forgotten about me so i can get judgement and get onto them for money back

had no corrospondence from bank as yet but spoke to moneyclaim yest who where very helpful and advised me i wont hear from them until they submit a defence or acknowledge then thats when court type paper work will start

its all fun and games - guess the £3200 they owe me is motivating me on - can just see myself sunning my way around greek islands in sep!!

This is worrying, I'm just about to start MCOL and I'm feeling nervous enough without reading that!

I always read the success thread and don't seem to find many recent success stories regarding Lloyds.

I really am beginning to doubt myself on this one, Halifax paid up £2,300 without MCOL so it's new territory for me.

Don't worry, I don't think she knew what she was talking about, I have not heard anyone else that hasn't been successful. But it would be good to know so we are stronger in court.

Keep us informed next week when you get past the big day!!!!!!!

Seems typical of Lloyds acknowledging at last min (no doubt mine will be on the 24th!!)

you will hear from Lloyds solicitor which will say whether they are gonna pay up, or defend the case (this is what moneyclaim women told me yesterday)

either way acknowleding it gives them another 14 days grace - !!!!!

My 14 days were up yesterday from my second letter but decided as we had 2 bank holidays to give the Yorkshire Bank a couple of days grace (after receiving a letter saying they were investigating my complaint!!

Anyway today I have received a letter from them say:

"I refer to your recent letter. I note from your letter that you feel excessive charges were applied to your bank account during recent years.

During this time, the relationship between you and the Bank was goverened bt the Bank's standard terms and conditions. Those terms and conditions provided that:

Quotes 8 T&C 's of which I wont bore you with.

Goes on and on and then says.

Taking all of the above into account and having regard to the information that you have given , I am not prepared to refund the charges on your account.

SEE YOU IN COURT YORKSHIRE BANK
Hi I got a similar letter on 13 April, but they said they would refund my money and wanted me to sign their version of the law 'without prejudice' of course.........
I didn't feel it appropriate to sign what I totally disageed with, so I have written saying I will accept the refund and then sign the Notice of Discontinuance' after they have sent me the cheque. They must be busy because they haven't sent me the cheque yet..........................and the case is due on 28th April so they need to hurry............or I get interest on top of what they offered
