    currently my charges per online statements is

    account 1 : overdraft excess fee £240
    unpaid d/d £172
    copy statement £10

    total = £422

    account 2 : overdraft excess fee £260
    unpaid d/d £609

    total = £869

    therefore total charges are £1291 and they have offered £750.

    can i reclaim all the excess overdraft fees as well as the unpaid direc debit fees?

    cheers

    Other banks appear to be answering letters and paying out very quickly, a colleague of mine wrote one letter to Barclays and their first response was an offer of repayment. Why are Lloyds being so difficult.

    there a nightmare - it almost makes me wish id banked with halifax as they seem to pay out no problem.

    Lloyds TSb are a bunch of *#~**** idiots!!!

    they drag every claim on - send out standard letters and do standard £750 offers - dont they realised everybody talks so we know the crack - sooo :mad:

    They have until 24th to put in a defense with me (filed on the 5th, so 5 + 14 days = 24th) no doubt they will on the 24th at 4.59pm!!!

    JUST WANT MY MONEY BACK![/QUOTE

    Hi just wanted to say that i totally agree with you, having read through alot of info on this site and consumer action group, it does seem to be Lloyds that enjoy dragging these claims out right to the end.... I received a letter from my local court today saying that it's going through the small claims track and my hearing will take place 20th June...So now i have to prepare for it, like you i just wish they would accept they are in the wrong and bloomin well PAY UP!!!!!!

    I'm about to start the same process next week, I think that you should go for it, they would have no feelings if they were doing it against you.

    Other banks appear to paying out very quickly, a colleague of mine has sent only one letter to Barclays and the first response letter included an offer, why can't Lloyds TSB be sensible like this, in the end they know they have to payout.

    Good Luck!!!!!!

    IF ONLY!!! they still havent paid me!!! am going to leave it until the end of the week, if no response, am going to send the bailiffs in!

    I have but I don't know exactly what that involves just yet .... will let you know more after next Wednesday (24/04)

    Went through the process of sending letters and got nowhere so decided to go through the court. Just found out today that Lloyds TSB have put in a defence and the hearing is set for next Wednesday. Must admit i'm pretty worried.

    If anybody has been to a hearing before any advice would be much appreciated.

    Im so confused. heres my story so far:

    I applied for my bank statements, got them back after 50 days- I'd sent the next letter and they arrived shortly afterwards.
    I then procedded to add the total up and submitted my letter asking for the amount back.
    14 days passed and so i sent the next letter saying i will take this to court if no response in 14 days-from the template.
    I received the !!!!!! response of its all legal charges etc. the following day lol.

    It now stands that court is obviously is my next step as its been 18 days since i sent the letter.

    However. Today i recieved a letter from them with a copy of all my charges going back 6 yrs. With a letter saying here are your list of charges. I had already had these and it says its collected £10 for them-ive already paid once. Now i just added these up as they had od interest included and i didnt claim for these in my intial claim. Their amount is £272.05 more than my claim.

    Sorry this is long i dont know how to word it all. Im scared of going to court i cant afford to pay legal costs or the intial court cost.
    Proud to be dealing with my debts
    Claimed £1657 back from lloyds.
    Have paid all my debt off with bank money
    (£1300 worth)

    Only a £400 loan left to pay now.
