I am overdrawn but am in my limit. So is this a scare tatic? As i have never had to review before. thanks maggie
Sounds like they're reacting to your claim. A 'review' sounds like it means they are withdrawing your overdraft facility.
Does the amount you're reclaiming cover the outstanding overdraft balance?
Have you asked them about this?0 -
Of course this is a scare tactic and a lot of people have come across this. You may also find that they will promptly close down your account too...so be prepared Maggie. Would your claim cover the overdraft ?
I should imagine that banks are being bombarded now and getting really hacked off by it all (not that they have any reason to) and so will look to exact whatever revenge they can.
I am in the process of finding another account before I proceed with stage two cause I just have the feeling they will close my account (Intelligent Finance) though I have no overdraft or loans etc. with them.
Good luck Maggie0 -

i'd ring them ask why the review after all these years? you never know it may be there way of offering you the money - miracles do happen lol
costs nothing for a phone call. t end of day if they close account like you say its there loss and surely they wont be that stupid for a couple of grand considering profits they make on mortages and loans - good luck keep us posted0 -

Hi there,
I sent the initial template letter to Lloyds last month requesting account details with the £10 cheque. I have not heard anything back and it has just gone over the 40 days that is given in the letter. What do i do... do i try and phone them? I haven't checked to see if the cheque has gone out but what if it has? What shall i do?
ThanksThey call me Mr Pig!0 -
I have gone through the correct procedures through Lloyds TSB claiming £230 from bank charges. They acknowledged my claim but didnt defend it within the require timescalre, therefore by default i entered a CCJ against Lloyds... I called MCOL and they said Lloyds will have around a week to pay it, otherwise i can send a baliffs round to collect my money......... this was last Tuesday, and they still havent paid me the money into my account or wrote to me... i am slightly concerned that they havent paid as am sure no high street bank would want a CCJ registered against them... has anyone else got this far before????????????
Please HELPPPPPPPPPPPPP0 -
Would be funny though hey!? You may even have to send the bailiffs in!!!LLoyds haven't acknowledged our claim yet (filed on 04/04) so they have until the end of the week.

I hope so.... am just thinking if the reason why they havent done it and responded is because i have done something wrong with the claim .. although i have claimed before and won ... fingers crossed!!!! would be too scared to send the bailiffs round lol
Has anyone else entered a CCJ against LLOYDS????????0 -
