When I got home i thought i would give the recovery centre in Hampshire another try (been trying for days and it was always engaged)
reason for phoning them was because i had originally and stupidly enlisted the help of a company (before I knew about this site) I had since cancelled my agreement with them and just wanted to make sure the bank had recived the letter stating that i was now dealing with this matter myself and not to send any correspondence to the vulture company ( didnt want company to know how much they were going to lose!
When I got through the man was very nice and helpfull, he told me what i wanted to know. he also said it would be another couple of weeks before they got around to looking at my case. Then he said " please read between the lines of what im about to say" you are certainly due for another letter from us soon! then he repeated " did you read between the lines?
He was so nice and helpful that i didnt want to tell him i had filed my claim this morning!
Im not sure what he was trying to tell me but i think he meant that i would soon be getting the 2nd letter that i have seen on this thread already stating that they need another 4 weeks. But i could be wrong.
Not that it matters as i have already moved on to the next step. hopefully i will be seeing a big fat bank balance very soon.
Good luck to everyone.

have to say your tel convo with tsb has made my day :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
loving the "Then he said " please read between the lines of what im about to say" you are certainly due for another letter from us soon! then he repeated " did you read between the lines?" its like he's talking in some kind of secret code - reminds me of the scene from Trigger Happy TV when the guys passing a case to another guy saying a code... anyway im blabbing - was nice to get a giggle from these forums instead of the normal frustration the banks give us0 -

Looking forward to reading the letter

After i sent the default letter off the money saving expert website i have (finally!!!) received a reply from the Copy Statement Unit at Lloyds TSB saying they have included a list of all my charges (not for the full 6 years) but if i want further statements i had to send the letter back and i may wish to proceed with my claim for reimbursement charges.
Im not too sure what to do next.
Do I ask for a full list of statements to make sure they have included all charges and do I include O/Draft interest in my list of charges.0 -
hi im all new to this so hopefully i will be able to get some help ..i was unaware that i could claim all my charges back untill my sis in law sent me the moneysavers site ..trying going back on online banking for 6 years of statements but it will only let me go to 3 years ..(im sure we could go back furthur untill them recently changing the site ) so im now printing the first letter asking for the statements.i have been wondering around the forums and site looking to see if anyone else has made a claim to this paticular bank but to no avail..so is it certain banks you can claim toor is it them all ..would love to know if anyone has had a claim against them .0
