Can someone please clarify for me what I can claim as I dont want to make a mess of things. Also what is the right address to send the next letter to.There are so many on here I'm not sure which to send the "give me my money back, this is how much you owe me " letter. If I can claim o/draft interest.o/draft excess fee.unpaid dd,unpaid s/o,then the amount I'm claiming is £604.23.£753.11 with interest.
You can claim the charges but not the o/draft interest.
eg:
01/01/01 CHG O/DRAFT EXCESS FEE
01/01/01 CHG UNPAID D/D
01/01/01 CHG UNPAID CHEQUE
01/01/01 CHG UNPAID S/O
you add your own interest after using the calculator.
Hope this is a help to you.

I sent my 1st letter to my local branch and recieved a reply within a week with a complaint reference number from.
Lloyds TSB
Recovery Centre
Charlton Place
Andover
Hampshire
SP10 1RE
So not really sure which address now. Think I would carry on sending to my local branch as they seem to forward it on to the relevant department pretty quickly.
GOOD LUCK0 -
try ringing 0121 633 5476 - its the number for LLoyds TSB Statement unit - they will tell you its going to be 10 days - explain your situation - be very very NICE - sympathis with them (say stuff like i bet your sick of people like me ringing) and then ask if you can give them your details and do it separatley.
I got my statements but was missing march 01 - sep 01 - plus dec 05 - dec 06 (funnily enough which where the months with most charges!!) and done the exact above and i got them in the post within 2 days
girl was stressed on phone at first and wouldnt take any of my details - i persisted - sympathised with her and she said - give me your account number,. sort code and i'll make sure there done straight away - and they were
sometimes being nice can help - not sayin it'll work for everyone but i'd say give it a try - you never know
good luck0 -
Lloyds TSB have sent me a Notice of Transfer of Proceedings and we are on our way to court. It has been requested that i return the allocation questionnaire but i dont know what this is. I have been persuing this claim since august 2006 am i in with a chance?0

ok,if you cant claim for o/draft interest it comes to£470.£588.93 with interest.I suppose I do the letter now and send it to my local branch and not the customer care centre.Do you think that as it's such a small amount they may just pay up.I should be so lucky.0

Yes and dont forget to send it recorded delivery or signed for delivery, that way you will know when it was recieved by them. Or take it in to your local branch by hand and get a reciept, especially as banks are off for a 4 day holiday after tomorrow!
From what I can see in the success stories thread you are more likely to get a pay out quickly if the amount is less than £1000. But dont bet on it! I think it comes down to luck on whether you get it quick or not. But it seems most get it in the end!
So good luck with your claim and i hope it happens fast for you.

you never can tell with LTSB - if its under a grand they tend to settle pre court - i would send the 2nd letter to them requesting money otherwise court action rather than letter 1 as they will prob just reply saying NO - go straight for the kill giving them 7 days to reply - send letter to normal bank
Would then just keep checking account as they have habbit of just crediting folks accounts when its smaller amounts.0
