Stick your own timelines bcbarton not there's.

You can either send LBA (letter before action) or file through the court instantly. Following the latter will cut down time, also I have never heard of Lloyds settling for that kind of money out of court.

    Good luck

I'm claiming close to £4000, do you think Lloyds TSB will end up going to and turning up to court?

They have never turned up at court, however I hear they string you along for a while to make you sweat. At the end of the day, you go to court and you get the full amount you claimed + interest + costs. So be patient and you will get there in the end. They are notorious for dragging there heels!!

    What stage you at now?

After posting above I checked MCOL and Lloyds have acknowledged my claim giving them a further 14 days. They had until the 9th April to do this Grrrrr!!!!

    What's the point??

They should take a leaf out of Natwests book and settle on the letter stage, that way they avoid all the added costs. Not very good business acumen on Lloyds part.

Never mind just a waiting game now.

I've got as far as getting the statements off Yorkshire Bank but these seem to be the hardest of them all with which to claim money off.
I've not even bothered to work out how to work out how much they owe me as I dare not face the courts so I've fed them into the shredder.

I hope and wish you all well though in your claims and hope you have more guts than I do

    Dave,

It's not too late and yes Yorkshire, Lloyds and a few others drag there heels, however it's just sitting tight and eventually you will get back what is rightfully yours.

Please don't give up hope, there has been so many sucess stories on here and we feel it will never happen to us, but it will..

Go for it and you will have full support and guidance on here

    taffyfella - typical lloyds

i dont understand why thye let nearly every case over a grand go to court - its only costing them more money as i'd say 99% of us would settle for payment without interest - but look at it this way - couple more weeks but at least you will then get the interest as well

9th april then im filing the courts on the 10th

    good luck
