Hi have just joined this site as my daughter told me about it. Had a quick flick through the success stories but can't find anything about Yorkshire Bank (unless I've missed it).
Has anyone made a successful claim against Yorkshire Bank for bank charges. I would be interested to hear from them
Thanks Julie0 -
Hi there MSEers!
Can anyone tell me if there is a sample form out there to use with the standard F.O. form? I just want to get the right wording for this.
Cheers

I have just had my claim for the bank charges acknowleded by LloydsTSB. On the form it states they intend to defend the claim, but it is completed by a solicitor, (for LloydsTSB), should I be worrying at this point, cos I am!!
Im trying to claim back £3800, going back 6yrs, TSb have got until 16th april, which is the end of their 28 days, does anyone know what happens next, whats the realistic outcome, surely I will be the 1st to lose my claim, im not confident at all. thanks for your help.0 -
Hi Tea
Don't worry it is completely ormal for the banks to enter a defence.
Everyone thinks they will be the odd one out and lose...trust me you wont - unless you made some major !!!! up with your claim of course
Next what happens is.....around 16th april you'll receive a copy of the defence from the bank solicitors, they might say your claims to vague etc etc its all waffle, and we'll help you sort it out...... and a copy from the court with an allocation questionnaaire.
You need to complete the Allocation questionnaire and return it to the court withi n 7 days - you need to pay £100 to do this s your claim is over £1500 - unless you are exempt from court fees.
Once the AQ is in it goes to the judge to give directions and a court date. Proabbly take a few weeks depending how busy the court is.
When that comes through you follow the directions...standard is a simple bundle of information 14 days before a hearing....and await the court date.
NOW they will settle probably between the AQ going in and the court date being allocated...so dont stress too much.
Completely stanard procedure as I say...and we're all here with you
Love

Hi Teaqueen,
Have you read the Success stories at the top of this Board, there are loads of success stories on there from Lloyds.
I am currently in the process of claiming £1'100 back from Lloyds, sent them first letter on the 3rd of March and I am eagerly awaiting their response.
GOOD LUCK. and as Martin says... RECLAIM, RECLAIM RECLAIM:MARCHING ON TOGETHER0 -

just our luck, apparently TSB leave it right upuntil the last minute, just before actually going to court, could take 2months...0
