AM SO ANNOYED. I have already claimed with LLoyds once and won, the day they put the money into my account, they took a staggering £190 out from 4 seperate charges....& since i changed bank accounts from my last claim, they also made me £140 overdrawn in charges, thankfully they advised they will not charge me for this as they can not charge over a charge....
I sent the two letters... paid the fee on moneyclaim.gov.uk .. tomorrow is the last day they had to respond.. if they didnt, i would have automatically won... this pm, they have acknowledged the claim and now have a further 28 days to look into it... The longer my Lloyds account is overdrawn, they more chance they can start legal action...... am not wanting to pay it as am disputing the charge anyway, and i cant afford to take that amount of money out of my wages..... Is it likely, Lloyds will continue to be awkward and lengthen the process out as much as they can and end up taking me to court for being overdrawn for 3 months of £140 - OF WHICH ARE THERE CHARGES??????
PLEASE HELP and message me!!!0 -

I posted this in the successes thread but though posting here would be a boost to Lloyds TSB claiments
Bank: Lloyds TSB
Amount Claimed :£4994.63 + £1027.35 interest = £6021.98
Amount Recieved : £6021.98
The story:
I was only claiming for past 4 years for 2 reasons, 1 - keep under the £5000 and 2 I could get statements from online banking so didn't need an SAR to be sent.
Sent first letter (taken from BBC website) around xmas time with a response early in new year saying no. Standard letter saying about charges are stated in T&C ect.
This put me off so I left it for about a month or so. After hearing about more successes I decided to move on, I went straight to filing a claim at the local court.
On Friday 16th March the court had received a defence from the bank and on Saturday I recieved the Allocation Questionaire. I filled that in over the weekend with the intention of sending it in tomorrow but on Checking my account this morning I found a deposit of the full amount in my bank account.
I am now going to phone my mortgage company (GMAC), who have a suspended reposession order on my house, and I am going to clear my mortgage arrears.
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU

Thank you. I have now opened a different account with another bank.. have been with them for around 6 months... the Lloyds account is £140 odd overdrawn without an overdraft limit on it.. if they cant take me to court as the account is in dispute then thats great... :money:0 -

Hi
This morning my bank YORKSHIRE BANK have returned my letter and schedule - I am asking for refund of charges and interest totalling £1101.
The letter reads:
In order for us to deal with this request we require a fee of £10. Send your letter and fee back to us in the pre-paid envelope enclosed.
HAS ANY ONE ELSE HAD TO DO THIS?
I presume I will have to pay or they wont even look at my claim!!

Sounds like there's some confusion. They can request up to £10 for the information request under the Data Protection Act.
If you are at the stage where you've listed your charges and are asking for a refund, they may have got you mixed up. I would be inclined to ignore it and continue with the process.0
