Is there a definitive address, as yet, for the Data Access Request and charges breakdown for Lloyds TSB ? So far, we've Penny Berryman at Pentagon House, the Recovery Service Centre, Colemore Row, B'ham; the Copy Statement Unit, Swallow House, B'ham; Customer Care, Colemore Row, B'ham and the DSAR Team, Andover.
Having sent my letter, Recorded Delivery to Penny Berryman, I have received no reply as yet and neither does Royal Mail have any tracking info. In my view, this letter has NOT been signed for and therefore i cannot verify its receipt whatsover.
If anyone has an answer for the correct address, I would be very grateful.
It's clear that the confusion can only result in worrying delays in reclaiming.

I have just received the following email from Penny Berryman - it will no doubt be of use to Lloyds Claimants:
Dear Ms M, all data request letters that arrive here are forwarded unopened to the Copy Statement Unit where they are logged and dealt with in order. The high volume of requests means that it is taking the full 40 days allowed by the DP Act to collate and issue the data. The 40 days starts from when the Bank receives the letter and the £10 fee – not from when it was posted. I expect you will receive your data in the first week of April.
Please note that despite what bloggers have put on websites, I am not the correct contact point for data requests. You could help your fellow claimants avoid delay by putting the correct address on the website/s you used:

If you have not had your data by Easter, you can raise a complaint by e-mail to the Contact.us@lloydstsb.co.uk address. Please do not come back via me as I am unable to assist.

Hi all
I sent my 2nd letter off threatening court action last week - 7 days up is today - do you think I should leave it a few more days before filling for court action since Lloyds are going to be bombarded with these types of letters?

Right then folks, before I start, a little background.
Lloyds TSB owed me £1700 in charges from the last 5 years or so. I started the process to reclaim them.
I had a response to the first letting fobbing me off, I persevered with the second letter, gave them 14 days notice before court action was initiated. About 3 weeks after this letter, £685 mysteriously appeared in my account, and I had a letter explaining the amount. This meant they still owed me over £1000, so I started court proceedings online via Moneyclaim for the remaining amount. As you can see by the subject title, they have decided to defend the claim and I am waiting for a court date to be set.
Theres about 20 of the 28 days left before the case is heard in court and Im starting to worry. If they hadnt already paid part of the claim, Id be looking forward to receiving the whole amount at some point in the next 20 days! But because they have paid part of the claim already, Im starting worry if this will go all the way to court! Which isnt what I want!!
What do you think people???0 -
I sent my first letter the 8/1 asking for 6 years statements.I have recieved the first 3 years and have phoned twice asking for the rest of them but getting no joy is this a delaying tactic with them. Also Can anyone post me any links for help with the yorkshire bank .
Many Thanks0 -
Hi all, not sure if I'm being a bit thick but here goes,
claiming £1100 odd from Lloyds TSB,
Sent letters from here
Went through moneyclaim online,
Received 'Notice of issue' from court
Received 'Notice that Acknowledgment of Service has been filed'
Now received what I think is the defendents (the bank) 'Acknowledgment of service'
I've see info on this site about a Questionaire I have to fill out, I would be able to relocate the court to one near me at this time. However I didn't get a questionaire from the court!, should I be downloading one?
Thanks in advance0 -

I received an offer from Lloyds last week (03/03/07) offering me £640 as a gesture of good will. I'd already registered the claim with the court so thought I'd wait until the cheque appeared until I decided what I was going to do.
I'd kinda decided to take the money and run but they've sent me a cheque today for £595 "as agreed"
Has this happened to anyone else? Should I tell them to whistle? Any help would be appreciated.0 -

Thanks
