Hi adsmum,
I would put in writing that you want all statements and give a time frame such as seven more days only and then take court action. I also think it is easier to deal with same dept each time, but if you want another dept you could try: Advice and Quality Unit-- Charges section, Third Floor, Brunswick Point,Wade lane, Leeds, LS2 8NQ, the address I was told to direct my 'complaint ' to in the first letter of reply the Yorkshire Bank sent me.
I am about to continue with my court action today as they now have had two weeks and noone has sent me any money just an empty promise that they are looking into it!!
Put everything in writing as a telephone call is not legal tender.0 -
Oh and just in case Yorkshire are reading this, and I'm sure they are, SHAME ON YOU for treating customers so shabbily.0

A relative of mine filed a claim against Lloyds TSB for about £450.
She received the defence from the bank on the 14th day (Friday) , the banks defense using words such as 'embarasing' etc. She was due to complete and return the Allocation Questionare today and went online to check her bank account and found that they had paid the full amount being claimed into her account.
If it wasn't for people like Martin she would not have even considered claiming. So on her behalf Thank you.
Lloyds have until Friday to defend my claim for nearly £5k, I do hope it is as easy.:rotfl:0 -
Hi All,
Need advice on Lloyds TSB, Would like to Reclaim the Charges from them but am concerned they may close my account, I understand about setting up a parachute account but due to being blacklisted other banks wont let me open one. LTSB is my main account so will cause problems if they did shut it down. Not sure how to procede incase they turn nasty. Has anyone had success without them closing the account?? Doubt my claim would be for more than £800 at a guess but have requested my statements.
Any advice and pointers on LTSB would be appreciated
Thanks to all and MSE.Com

hi, I requested a copy of my statements from yorkshire bank 3 weeks ago, and would like to know if anyone had any trouble getting a copy of their statements or charges going back 6 years from them, i have noticed on martin`s template letter for requesting charges has recently had another paragraph added to it about the Microfische filing system which was not in the letter i sent when i asked for mine. iam wondering if they sent me my charges for the last 3 or 4 years would i be able to start claiming for them while i am waiting for charges going back further to be sent to me, before claiming for the others or do i have to do it all in one go.PLEASE HELP!0

I have a poor credit rating but after looking through this site I went to Yorkshire Bank and Opened a ReadyCash account. They do not do a credit check apparently but do ask if your a bankrupt.
You can have DD's and SO's going out and you get a Meastro card. You do not get a cheque book nor any overdraft facility. I made the appointment on the Tuesday, had the on the Thursday when the account was opened and received my Meastro card on the Saturday with the PIN arriving a couple of days later.
You can't apply online but details can be found on their website at http://www.ybonline.co.uk/0,,38797,00.html0 -
Hi Dicky625.
I am in the process of claiming £296.00 + interest from the good old yorkshire bank and they have tried constantly to delay the process, after giving them the 14 days to small claims court letter I received a cheque for £148.00 two days after the deadline (I had issued the claim the day before) so I sent them the cheque back and said I was prepared to drop the interest if they paid the £296.00 plus costs of £50.00. Today I got a letter from the court saying they intend to enter a defence and need 28 days to prepare...I cannot wait bring it on !
I think they may be trying to hang on for the OFT's reccomendations.
Good Luck with £4K

I have just received a letter from Lloyds dated 1st March offering us £682.50 we asked for £580 plus interest - the letter stated that it will be credited to our account in a few days (nothing has been paid in).
We had started court proceedings on the 2nd March and they had 14 days to reply from the 7th March.
Can we still accept this offer even though it was made before we started the proceedings - and should we carry on to get the remainder of £110 (interest and court costs)????
As they have offered £102.50 more than your claim it looks to me that they have paid the interest and court fees?0 -
