Yep that maybe so, but considering that post on Digital Spy seems to be the only evidence of anybody ever receiving an item from this company, I know it would have stuck in my mind.0

Hi,
I have already asked the Forum Team to review this thread but, given that it's a weekend it may be some time yet.
In the meantime I'd like to remind members of the Forum Rule...Please be nice to all MoneySavers. That’s the forum motto. Remember the prime aim is to help provide info and resources. If you don’t like someone, their situation, their question or feel they’re intruding on ‘your board’ then please bite the bullet and think of the bigger issue... a Guardian article recently “doffed its cap” to this forum as being the one place where consumers can collect together and fight back, our job is to help keep it that way.Hi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there. I apologise squeaky. Lots of upset people on this thread who have lost thousands of pounds between us. Dan has thrown the bait and i have bitten. Im annoyed0 -
OK... hmm...
I really really don't want to close this thread while we wait for the Forum Team to review it because there are quite a number of other members who may need to post.
The basic advice to members is to report any post that they feel is inappropriate and refrain from further comment. Can we do that please? We ask that users:- Don't report Private Messages inappropriate posts to Board Guides or individual MSE Team members.
This is not what Board Guides or MSE employees do and they cannot help - they often don't have access to the tools (that includes Martin). Reports must be sent to the Forum Team via the forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com email address. - Don't comment on reported posts in the thread.
Just report it and let the Forum Team deal with it, however much you feel justified to make a comment. If you do, action could be taken on your posts as well. Please don't quote the post, as this causes the Forum Team more work.

Thanks
I'm asking you guys to take a break here. I know how frustrating and upsetting the situation is and, given the upset, I've been asking for a break to allow ruffled feathers to settle, so to speak.
By now you'll have seen my earlier posts.

Fair enough. Im happy to have my posts deleted and serve a ban myself. All i want is my money back0 -
Right guys, the day has arrived!! By my reckoning we have 3 people on this thread who have been promised refunds today (I believe it's 3 but can't be ars*d to run back through this long thread to double check!!)
I really hope you get the money back today but my suspicion is that you will be told it has been processed today and then come Thurs/Friday when the money has not materialised you will either be told it was delayed for some reason or you will not hear anything at all!!
I still have had no replies to the emails I sent "Brian Harrison" last week so the little glimmer of hope that was there is, for me, starting to fade quickly!!
Oh well, fingers crossed for payments!!0 -
Hi Guys,
Had an email from RSI this morning requesting my bank details saying they had been lost. Brian said he can only pay me back for one of the two items I bought we shall see. He sent the email which included my last email and clearly had the bank details at the bottom - so he did have them I wrote back telling him this could seem like a stalling tactic and that I would not be stopping any of the actions I have taken until all the money is back in my account (and Cleared) Can't do anything else really. I do feel sorry if Brian is genuine, but I also know that if he has paid 80% of people back as he says, he doesnt have a lot more to find and he needs to get it borrowed to stop the pain for his family and for the rest of us. Please ring the bank you paid the money in to it really is a good step to take.
Living in hope (if that's possible)
JUST HAD THIS EMAIL FROM BRIAN . (My response and previous email included) Make your own minds up. Says ive been paid £400.00 today but this is the ipad without the take etc Want the correct amount promised. Really I want what I paid for the iphone as well.

Hi Brian
account name - xxxxxxxx sort code xxxxxxx account number xxxxxxx (blanked by me for forum copy)
I can't understand why you are saying you don't have these as they are clearly printed at the bottom of the email you sent to me. I have just cut and pasted them in off the email you just sent me.
Think the guys on the forum are getting very concerned I have had several phone calls from people many of whom are just very very angry and will do whatever it takes to get their money back. I would prefer to get my full amount this time as promised but if not would want a valid date and payment before I stop any action I have taken. I know this might sound harsh but I have been in business for thirty years and know that there are always ways of raising a bit of cash. If as you have told people on the forum 80% of people have been paid back them that's not exactly a lot to raise. And I'm sure it's better than what you are saying you're going through right now. Me I'd just want it out the way as soon as possible especially as you say for you're family. The sooner the money is sorted and everything resolved the better for all. Unfortunately you don't seem to help your case when you tell me you have misplaced my bank details and then they turn up on the email you send to me saying you have not got them, could sound like stalling tactics.
Please email me when you have processed the transfer
Thank you
Julie

I have today transferred £400 to you -
The incoming ref on it is simply 'B Harrison' The funds will leave my account tonight and I know from paying suppliers in
the UK, that it can take anywhere from 2-4 working days for funds to show as
cleared in your account.

Hi Brian,
Thank you for what you have paid I look forward to evidence of it's clearing so that can be correctly reported on forums. You say I made false claims about you but I was just reporting what I had said to you in my email and yes to be honest the stalling was my first thought so that's what I wrote to you and reported to others as I said I would report which was what I also said to you. sadly you still have not done as promised and refunded what I paid. and the ipad actually cost £399+ tax which is £399.00 for the ipad plus £69.83 at the tax rate in November being a total by my reckoning of £468.83p so £68.83p short plus what you still owe me for my iphone
Please advise me when you have paid the other £69.83 todays correct amount, as you said you would be paying me back for the ipad this would be much appreciated.
Many Thanks
Julie
I WILL KEEP EVERYONE INFORMED AND POST INFO IF MONEY GOES INTO BANK AND IF I ALSO GET PROMISED CORRECT AMOUNT ps Included all this in the interest of being transparent Very important!
