    2nd March Status Update

The majority of all outstanding refunds have been processed. We have now exhausted all of our allocated funds. We will be able to process the final batch of refunds on the 14th March 2011. We are currently waiting on funds arriving and cannot process any more refunds until this date. Thank you for patience during this difficult time for us all.

  • I've just been through all my correspondence from this lot. How dare they tell me to be patient ?

    As a 1011 order , I am LIVID.

Red Star Imports Europe SARL 2010 - UK & Ireland Office - 314 James Street Dublin Ireland
  • I'm a patient man, but this lot have really made me SOSOSOSO annoyed with today's announcement

    Things that stack up :

    * They still have a working email address - if they really wanted to run off with our money, surely they would just have done it. I had an email today to say that I will definitely be next for a refund !
    * I may be one of the only ones on here who has actually spoken to someone from RSI. I received a call from them at the time of my cancellation apologising.
    * Why put on a pretence - Kelly Adair going off on maternity was something I found bizarre ? If they are going to scam me, why pretend with a back story

    Things that don't :

    * No one on here who say they got their money back have proved it - and I think it is right we should see some proof given how twitchy we are
    * Anyone else think KeithWylie was one of the RSI people ?
    * People like me with a 1011 order and the promises we were given - nothing promised has ever happened.
    * Why have a building that on GoogleMaps doesnt exist. Why have an office in Dublin and then say it is snowing in Donegal ?
    * If they have given out the majority of refunds, why no 1011 orders (or later) ? When it was promised 30 days max ....

This might sound like a stupid question, but who the heck do we contact about this farce ??

    * The Police ? If so, which ones - Ireland, our own force ? What the heck do we tell them ?

    * Fraud squad - people keep mentioning them ! Who the heck are they ? Where on earth do you ring the fraud squad ?

im sure that the best bet to do is take action now, i have had no emails or any other contact from these people, and im getting pretty sick of being told to wait a bit longer all the time. i seem to be in a very bad place at the moment as my payment was taken 2 days before they said they a gone bust, if they really have gone bust why did they take payment so late, anyone got any idears ?
i am going to send them a email stating that unless i get my money back before the weekend i will be ringing the irish police in dublin and reporting them, its seems like the only action left open to me, of course i may not get my money back but least someone will have to explain what as gone on. and hopefully get there collar felt. its not a lot but would make me feel a lot better. lol

This is the Irish equivalent of companies house, I assume. I can't find Red Star Inports on there. Although with the UK companies house it only lists Ltd companies so may be the same over there.

There is only 1 Brian Harrison on Facebook listed as living in Dublin!!

    Hi Guys,
I think REDSTAR are really giving us the run a round!!!
As has already been stated there is NO CONCRETE EVIDENCE that anyone has really had a refund. or even who really is the owner of REDSTAR he says his name is Brian Harrison but as of date he has given No one the address of contact promised on the site, the recievers address or information or really anything we can say is definite name, address, or contact point. We all need to contact in writing the Bank the BACS were paid to, Local and Irish Police, Redstar,s Internet Server Hosting Company (Heart Internet LTD) The Dublin Address and the Address for Brian Harrison posted early in this forum and anyone else that any of us have that could lead to finding who is really behind REDSTAR and where this company are and if there site information is correct in any way shape or form.
We also should consider making any useful information we have available to others who have lost money via private messaging.
This may sound somewhat paranoid, but after too many broken promises, and speaking to several other people in the same or a worse situation the time for action is here. If you are out there just reading these posts and not doing anything you need to get in touch with others. If REDSTAR is genuine we can be the first to hold our hands up and say sorry. If they are not we might just be able to stop this or worse happening to other people. WHY!! Because if they are not genuine it's a sure bet that if they get away with the theft of thousands of pounds THEY WILL DO IT AGAIN!, and AGAIN, and AGAIN!!!! We have a responsibility to do whatever we can to stop that from happening. THINK ABOUT IT! do you want others to go through what you have!! Hope the answer is NO. Please Private Message others on the forum and lets get together and see what we can do once we all put our heads together. Thanks for Reading This NOW LET'S DO SOMETHING!
Please register complaint as well online at (you will have to put in www etc. as I can't add link in full)

Jenkski, last Friday (25 Feb) you told us that you would be in touch with the Garda on Monday (28 Feb)...
