You don't understand why only one person has been refunded?

    Get real.

Many others have probably been refunded, I have no idea how many. But it appears that only one knows about this thread on MSE and can be bothered to reply.

I can concur, refund received today via BACs......whew

Some people here really, REALLY need to get a grip and clam down.

Allow them the time to process the refunds.

They have updated their site 5 times in the last 3 weeks with specific refund info, they are refunding people slowly.

Most companies just !!!!!! off when they go tits up, they didnt.

Yes they have your money, but Im sure they didnt plan to go out of business and that they are suffering also.

I think everyone has a much better chance here if they work with this company as opposed to plotting action against them (which I doubt would work as they are outside of the UK)

Also, as mentioned by the other poster here....do you think this forum is the only source of who has been refunded? Its a small slice of the action. 1 person states they have been refunded and then its assumed that ONLY one has EVER had a refund.

    Hi Guys,
I think maybe pretty soon we all need to have a united front and set something up where we join together to try and get our money back. The promised 30 day deadline is now only a few days away, so I guess we need to begin to prepare for the worst and hope for the best!!! there are a few people now who have used the forum, maybe private messaging with emailaddresses and stratagy is the next constructive approach, let me know what you think
So what are you going to do when the deadline passes?

I would start brushing up on Irish Republic consumer legislation for a start.

An alternative might be to wait patiently.

    People apparently are being refunded.
    Maybe you will be too.

I assume you are addressing that comment at me?

What on earth gives you the idea that I work for them?

What have you found out about Irish Republic consumer legislation?

I do think it would be a good idea to prepare yourself, don't you?

i have a order number starting 11 and im not to sure that anyone as got a refund, but im going to wait until the end of this month, then if no refund call the police in ireland, what else can you do?. and as far as people saying calm down, you calm down and give your head a shake im owed £ 616.66 and i dont like other people taking my money the day before they say they have gone bust. and what makes it even worse is the fact that they lied and told poeple there goods were being posted that day. there a set of c**ts.
    How did you pay?

If by credit card, then involve the credit card company.
Put in a Section 75 claim. Details here.
They are jointly liable, so must help.

    P.s. Abusive language doesn't help.

everyone paid by BACS coz they didnt take credit cards or cheques or any other way to pay
    Thanks for that info, MrFurious.

In that case I am absolutely amazed that someone, not you, could pay over six hundred pounds without considering what might happen if things go wrong.

the only people who say they have been refunded are people from redstar imports
Have you anything to back up that wild accusation?
  • Its easy to see that people are coming on here to say that we should be calm and trust red star Imports and then all of a sudfden they are the people who are coming back and sayoing that lo and behold that they have gotton refunded, not the people who are crying out for there moneys, only the people who are saying positive things about red star Imports. makes perfect sense to me.

seems theres a lot of people on here that are not owed money, so why are they even on here
Well I cannot speak for everyone, but I am on here because people asked for help and advice.

    Even you asked for that...

    A few days away?

30 day target was given on 8 February.

Looks like they still have two weeks or so, doesn't it?
  • A couple of week yes but that is what it will take to be organised so that come the day, as has been said we can go in organised and armed with correct facts and legal advice. As Irish law is pretty intense it will take time to ensure that happens by the allotted time frame this is pretty vital as according to my research his web site is also due for renewal around this date and we have to accept that this site therefore may well drop off the w.w.w. In march as well. So time is of the essence for those who at least want to try and get there money back. And of course if as promised by Brian at redstar the monies are returned by then all we have lost is a bit of time and effort. And I for one would rather have made an effort. If the money is sent back then fine maybe I'll look like a bit of a scare monger, but if it's not at least I will be ready for the next move. That would seem sensible as it seems difficult to get in touch with redstar imports by email most of you are saying there is no response no matter how many emails you send.
