God I'm amazed, my Daughter has been stinging me for years by your lists.

She's 19 this year & wants a laptop as her main prezzie (about £400), I will get her a few bits to open as well, no more than £100 on those, perhaps some boots & fashion jewellery.

I usually spend about £400 - £500 per birthday & Xmas, but then I do have only one child. If I had more I would have to spend less on her.

We spoil her, as I said she 19 (at college) & we still give her pocket money, LOL.

    Happy Christmas in advance

wait a minute, I thought all the kids wanted a tickle me elmo?

We've got our 15mo dd one :D. I hope she'll love it but I only bought it because me & OH like it  . We've also got her a toy laptop for £12 from Costco and the TMX Elmo was £35 from Argos. We'll put £50 in her account too.

We're getting DD (age 3 on Boxing Day!) Fifi toys and books, arts and crafts stuff (she was meant to get her blackboard/whiteboard for Christmas but we got it out early- it's a hit!), clothes, a toy Tux (Linux penguin mascot) and whatever else that she might like that we spot. Some stuff will be birthday presents, and I normally decide which is which when wrapping. She'll get a lot of stuff from family too- her nanna has pinched all the best ideas ;)

The person who is getting the most expensive present is my partner. He's getting a new computer, but we're building it ourselves, so we know exactly what's going in it. Then I get his old (last years :p) machine and DD gets mine. We're planning on paying for the computer bit by bit, so he probably won't have it all by Christmas.

I'll also be doing stockings for all three of us this year, now that DD is old enough to enjoy it (and it gives me an excuse to get my partner some socks and underwear ;))

All DDs (two at 21, one at 17 and one at 12) will get a couple of books at least that they will love, and a dvd each that they will really enjoy).
A piece of jewellery each for the two youngest and maybe pjs from Primark plus a stocking.

Will probably get carried away nearer the day and buy a few more bits or may just be sensible and give them a "promise" for a shopping day to get anything they need but have to choose themself like clothes (in the sales!)
