Clothes! She won't care either way this year! LOL.
Just read some of this thread. No way do I think it's mean to buy clothes! Of course you buy clothes all the time, but these are new 'party' outfits and bits and bobs, which I personally know my kids will be very happy about! They will get toys anyway, just not from me this year (excluding the kitchen! Lmao)"I did then, what I knew then. And when I knew better, I did better"0 -
i have 4 kids i didnt spend more than £50 each on them. DS1 got a tshirt,an alarmclock, a seriesof unfortunate events book and a PS2 game.DS1 got a football and bag,a PS2 game,a suduko book and a poker set. DS3 got some boobahs and a boobah house, a thomas annual and a bob toy and DD got a dora annual,a dora puzzle and a teaset and a toy phone. i dont spend a great deal and my children never feel unloved because i dont buy them hundreds of ££'s worth of stuff. i buy what i can afford:)November NSD's - 70

i wish spud had believed in it for longer, i felt quite sorry for him.
Our front room though it still has loads of pressies doesn't look at OTT as it has in prev years, partly cos we cut back and partly cos nan instead of wrapping everything seperately has put it all in a great big xmas bag . Just ogt to wait for rest of family to wake up now:D0 -
we got loads of stuff, far far too much. we're putting some of roo's presents away and he will have them in a few months time.
i've noticed that on TV people seem to only buy one present for their grandchildren etc. and it's only the parents who buy more than one. i'd prefer it that way really. my mum asks me what my 2 would like, i tell her one thing and she buys it along with 2 dozen 'small' presents.52% tight0 -
