not too sure wat my brother (his dad) is getting him yet, or his uncle, great auntys, uncles, nana etc. And aint got a clue what he will get at his mums house but he will be spoilt to say the least.
A lot of you have said this is too much, but look at it another way. I actually think it's rather mean of the parents to consider clothes a Christmas present to such young children (I never gave my daughter clothes when she was pre-teen, she wanted toys!!!). Clothes you buy for your child as normal everyday stuff, surely? Yes, even designer clothes if that's what floats your boat. I did with my daughter (Oilly coats at £150, dresses at £80 - & that's 15 years ago!!!!!) But I would never have given them to her as a present.
However the poster did say it was from a variety of people, I think nice clothes are an acceptable gift from people other than parents.0 -

I bought a blue buggy with a teddy bear on last year from wilkinsons (i think it was only a fiver) for my 2year old, he loves pushing his teddy in it, he also has a play kitchen, and loves to watch bratz (although I think that is more forced upon by his older sister of 8).
I say let kids be kids, let them play with whatever they want, my daughter always loved playing with garages, cars an lego when she was little - come to think of it she still does!0 -

Well, I've got the laptop......
I got her a few bits of make up & toilitries as well.
But I'm really stuck on what to get her, that's a nice big surprise (she knows about lap top).
I think she would like new boots, but it's so hard to buy boots for someone else, she did see some in office she like, does anyone know if they come up big, small or about right?
Or there's a ladies tux in M&S she said she liked, I think it's £100, anyone know any codes???? LOL LOL LOL.
I bet none of you have kept to your lists, I bet you are going overboard, LOL.

On top of that, I'm donating £100 worth of gifts to the local childrens ward, which I guess is an attempt to ease my guilt!
Not wishing to single out Fleetfanatic, please don't think i'm picking on you however i just wondered why a lot of people do this, donate to hospitals where children have parents who will buy them loads of stuff and a hospital provided dinner as opposed to underpriviliaged kids who probably don't even get a christmas dinner0 -
No kids of my own, but for my brother's kids - I'm getting the eldest nephew Zelda for the Wii his parents have got him, and the younger one a Chelsea shirt (I think his parents are regretting letting him get into football). 9-month-old niece gets a nice selection of baby clothes (can never have too many). Also getting some DVD games (e.g. British Hit Singles quiz) for the whole family, so the grown-ups have something they can play themselves after Christmas lunch.0

i haven't gone overboard and judging by the conversations in the playground and at baby groups i'm actually being rather mean. but my ten year old doesn't believe in santa and knows the value of money. he'd rather have some books, a wii and some games than a huge pile of presents that doesn't contain a wii!52% tight0
