I think he'd much prefer some lego and a toy car... maybe some plastic BOY toys for the bath?
Last christmas my son was 2 and he was desparate to have a doll. He loves his boys toys but there is nothing wrong with boys playing with "girls" toysGive me the boy until he's seven and i'll give you the man.0 -

He also plays with lego and cars.so I dont know what point your trying to make.
It's not playing with them, it's that you'd specifically go and buy girls toys for a boy.
I played with dolls when I was little (my cousins) - I'd use them as my participating auidence for me jumping over a ramp on my bike and have them next to it. Many did suffer damage, looking back it was a bloodbath:rotfl:0 -

Hope you've got a garage or shed to put it in!!!!
I agree, buy some industrial strength ear plugs!! LOL0 -
thanks for your advice guys,
I am lucky in that the boys are chuffed with whatever they have, they get bits and pieces thru out the year, and as long as santa comes and leaves snowy footprints down the hall and eats his mince pie they are happy..... but then they are only 4 and 5  . My oldest son has just had 100 quids worth on clothes from next and gets pocket money so he doesnt go without much.
purple smartie i dont think my boys will be missing out at all, for us as a family its not 'just a holiday', it is much more than that ( but that is another story) and yes christmas will be over at disney by the time we go, but i dont think that will worry them they are sooooo excited, and i cant wait to see their faces when they get there!!!!- but thank you we will have a wonderful time, and i hope you have a fabby christmas too, xx
I hope everyone has a wonderful time at christmas and treasure christmas morning with your children and families and remember it isnt about how much you have spent on them but how much time you spend with them.
HAPPY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We will probably buy about £50 worth of books from Schoollink with money given by grandparents.
I am a bit amazed about the amount of money spent of children these days and I feel uncomfortable with even the amount we have spent on the children this year.
I think that's more than enough for children, especially with 4 of them.
Am the same, set amount for my three. Only trouble I have is that we got a 4 month old and don't know what to get. I know he doesn't even know what day it is I would still like to buy him something small.. Not buying absolute tones as we have two full baskets of toys from my 2 year old.
any ideas:A Tomorrow's just another day - keep smiling0 -

Nothing wrong with a doll or pushchair for a little boy - who says everyone has to follow typical stereotypes?
My eldest had both as a toddler and loved them - he's now a typical 7 year old who is into bikes and Power Rangers - didn't do him any harm. My 5 year old neice loves toy cars as well as barbie.
Incidentally, my 17 month old son is getting a little people house from Santa, even though some people may consider it a girl's toy.:DCross Stitch Cafe member No. 32012 170-194 2013 195-207.Hello Kitty ballerina 208.AVA 209.OLIVIA 210.ELLA 211.CARLA 212.LOUISE 213.CHARLEY 214.Mother & Child 215.Stop Faffing Completed 2014 216.Stitchers Sampler. 217.Let Them Be Small 218.Keep Calm 219.
