ladies i am back again with 2 questions. :) (i know i know)..

Well i am just over 10 weeks now, and this morning i feel less nauseous. is that 'normal'? whatever normal is anymore. I spent the whole weekend feeling so yuck. today my belly feels 'full' as well. meh..

also last week, i went to boots and got some vitamin d to take additionally with my folic acid. the pharmacist have me 25micrograms to take one everyday. is that a normal dose? i had to question her and she reckoned that was fine. was a bit confused so havent started it. :( thanks guys. x

Rups... my nausea came and went as it felt like but I think it's finally gone now (I'm also back to sleeping late in the mornings, wanting tea/coffee, eating my morning meusli rather than scoffing peanut butter and toast...). I'm supposed to be 15+2 today and I think anything is 'normal' when you're pregnant ;) My only symptoms now seem to be burping (still!); a bit of a tummy (can't fit into any of my jeans); and twinges in my bum!

Fluctuations in symptoms is completely normal Rups, particularly the closer you get to 12 weeks - some people who suffer from morning sickness find that it disappears completely around the 12 week mark, although some are unlucky and get it for longer, or even sporadically later on in the pregnancy. As for Vitamin D, I think that 25micrograms sounds ok to me. I think the ones I've got are that too, although I have to admit that I've not been very good at taking them - I'm trying to get out in the sunlight as much as possible though and I'm eating fortified cereals and foods containing the vitamin instead.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

thanks so much. i was a bit cautious about taking the vit d tabs. :) i dont get much sunlight so better start taking them. it does say at the back, if pregnant, check with GP. lol. oh well. its a small dose right?

yeah sometimes i think having the ms is better and normal. i do feel slightly better, but still not having enough water today. i get such hunger pangs though after a while and i want to keep eating (good and bad stuff, but more bad). recently at the weekend, i found that am enjoying juicy oranges but sprinkled with salt. yum.

I've yet to find any medicine/supplement which doesn't say that! Including my folic acid and my pregnancy multivitamins...

Rups you can get hunger pangs not because your hungry but actually because your thirsty. Have you tried squash or lemonade instead of water? Any fluid intake is better than none.
You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

Just wanted to say a quick CONGRATULATIONS to you Rups32, I remember you from the miscarriage thread so it's awesome news that you are now expecting. Good luck for a nice easy pregnancy and labour and all the best to you and your little one :)
