ah fluffnutter that's sso sweet. you know i have been banned by DH to even be on here and chat or check out websites (which i have really cut down on). However, when i do come on here, i do feel calmer. I am not lying. Last night when i was so upset, i really wanted to but would had to ask him if i could use his laptop so i couldnt (we werent speaking for hours). But you all keep me sane esp when i have my moments. You surely hide it well hon if you worry like me. :)

    Hi Babymonster and BezzyK.

I did a spare CB digi that I had this morning and it had gone up to 3+ weeks! Nice to see cos I keep forgetting I'm pg!

I told my Mum and Dad this morning. True to form, my mother was all lovely about it then said "oh, so you'll be sick for 12 weeks which means you'll be fine just in time for harves - I was driving forklifts 2 weeks before i had you". Would put in rolling face smily if I had it!

Dad was really sweet though. He's a big ol' farmer type so doesn't do emotion or chat but he kept saying "well done", that's great etc! Lovely. Then he said "bet that's why you've been grumpy for a week"!

Think we might tell OH parents this afternoon but that's it till the 12 week mark for us.

    Hi Ladies
Just wondering if I can join you - found out this week pregnant with our 3rd child. We were pregnant end of last year, had 8 week scan due to pain on right side, which was clear, but at 12 week scan there was no heart beat so had an ERPC, 4 weeks pregnant now so hoping midwife will send me for an early scan again - was due to be monitored more heavily last time anyway as 2nd baby was 3 weeks early and only 4'13. Feel really excited but guarded. Wont be telling anyone other than parents til 12 weeks, we did last time and it was a real trauma telling everyone at 12 weeks.
    Look forward to sharing experiences!

Welcome Emma, babyk and bezzy - I am gradually feeling a bit braver to post myself too although have definitely been hanging around! I am 8+6 at the mo, today is actually the day I started miscarrying last time so hoping history doesn't repeat itself! That is a bit miserable sounding - I have PMA! (It goes up and down!)

What are all your bank holiday plans? I am decorating, putting the house on the market next week so will hopefully be in a new place by the time baby arrives!

Hi ladies, i had a horrible couple of days. After a lot of pain in my low right side i went to a&E and was told it could be an ectopic pregnancy, they left me overnight and yesterday i had a scan, they said baby is too small ( i am only 4 weeks) so could only see a sac and a cyst in my ovary, nothing to worry about and the fallopian tubes are clear. come back in 10 days. I am ok now but i was really upset at first as midwife was so horrible, kept telling me it was an ectopic and they will get it sorted as soon as possible, not to worry while of course i was really worry not about me but about losing my baby. it is a corpus luteum cyst, the doctor said it was good news as it is supporting the pregnancy.

I am still in a bit of pain, but they re assured me that baby was in the right place, im not sure if i should go to my gp to ask for directions as i dont know what to do, if i should rest or keep normal.

Sounds like your pregnancy is pretty normal, hun. The cyst is really common and is from where the follicle released the egg. This follicle is continuing to produce progesterone which is supporting the pregnancy. AFAIK, most of these cysts clear up on their own, but even if they don't, they don't cause problems. If they get really big, the clever quacks can do something about them, so try not to worry about the cyst.

The main thing is your baby's safely growing in the womb :)

Take it easy if you're still in pain, plus you've had a shock so it will take a few days to get over things, but in terms of pregnancy outcome, lying flat on your back or being up and about as per normal won't make any difference :)

Morocha - sounds pretty scary. But it does sound like everything is ticking along nicely now, especially with what flufnutter said. I would think you'd be ok carrying on as normal otherwise I'm sure the hospital would have said something.

I'm off to watch the pageant today! Very excited but I think we might get a little bit wet!

Had a phone call from my best friend yesterday and she was telling me all about a mutual friend who lost her baby at 9 weeks. So sad for her and it was really hard not to blurt out: We're pregnant too!

fluffnuter and zcrat, thank you ! I am ok now that i understand why it is there, and there is no ectopic, but some people just does not care or that was the impression ive got from the midwife although she knew baby was planned, kept telling me it was ectopic without a scan, it scared me. Then next day i was fine, i was certain it wasnt. I am a 2 time mother but with these things i am like first time one, i never experienced anything like this with DD.

zcrat, how sad about your friend,. Im only 5 wks today and so far decided not to tell, apart from nana, my ohs parents and his brother. Nana could not understand this and is dying to tell her other daughter(* because they are family too etc...), we have explained to her that is very early days and after this i am sure she will keep it to herself.
