Yep, we all have to grit our teeth and be glad of the sickness!

I'm "combined care" apparently. Both midwife and consultant appointments, because I had a section with my daughter. 11 days over and after 3 attempts at induction zero cm dilated and not one contraction.

I've made it clear I want another section. I had a great experience and healed really quickly. My scar has virtually disappeared and my LO is 18 months.

Managed to go around to MIL's to sit out in the sun for a bit with DH. :)

With my scan appointment, my midwife booked it and then I got a letter through the post with the date and time. I had to change it though, but only to the day later.

We have a communal garden for all six flats but I don't like using it. I feel watched and get paranoid and I wouldn't want to sit out there in my wheelchair, which I might have to as I can't walk very far.

Hence, why when I'm feeling up to going out, we go around to MIL's instead. :D

I found my file! Yay! Not too much rummaging required either...
About the scan vs midwife booking in thing - I think it depends. I think there should be someone you see really early on - I'd been reading books before I got pregnant so knew some things to do (like folic acid, and what not to eat, what to watch out for etc etc); but if I hadn't read up on things it would be almost the end of your first trimester before someone saw you - by which time I think the folic acid is irrelevant anyway! As it is I was really fed up with my GP's first appointment as he literally only referred me (and that took a good two weeks); no other questions or comments whatsoever. But, on the other hand, I would prefer a scan first before filling out the vast reams of paperwork at the booking in appointment! And I guess if they give you a really early scan there's still a fair chance things could go wrong in the following weeks, so it makes sense to wait for that until 12 weeks....

Anyway, to happier topics - I got out into the sun a bit today as well, it's lovely out today!

PS - anyone else getting odd pains in the middle of their bumcheeks? That's the only way I can describe it... maybe where the top of your thighbone would end up??
