They are £5 for 2 at LGI or £4 each at Ripon so you definately need to take some money with you Savage just in case, although the LGI don't take cash payment.

Sararara try not to worry hun, I think your that used to things going wrong your not sure how to imagine it not going wrong. Is your scan early on in the morning or do you have a little while to wait? I didn't sleep the night before either of my scans due to nerves/fear/excitement etc so it's normal to worry before your scan, but obviously it's a little bit more for you x

Lady M good luck with the scan. great news. :0) sarara def try and relax and do some breathing exercises at your desk for 5 mins. that will help. i dont blame you for being anxious though.. *hugs*.

i have been spending the last two days just feeling weird and questioning whether everything is still ok inside me. hate feeling like that. better chase up with the gp and hospital again today.

I only got charged at Ripon, they only charged for one though as the pics are crap and one of them has a red stamp right across it. The 20 wk scan I didn't get charged for as the woman was brilliant and spent 45 minutes with us and I think she took pity on me cos she gave me 4 pics for free lol and they are amazing pics.

It's at 3pm, so we're going to work first and both have the afternoon off. Argh. *paces up and down*

    Longest wait ever.

We needed four pound coins for the machine which gives you a token. You then hand that to the sonographer. How many pics you get out of that depends on how generous your sonographer's feeling!

Also confused here. I went to the booking in appointment with the midwife, and then when I left she said she'd booked me in for the scan and I needed to take the paperwork to the desk (which I did) - haven't had any confirmation through though (including where it is - but I'm at a fairly large hospital and checked online earlier and it seems to be at the ultrasound department!). Ah well will get there good and early tomorrow and see what happens! Although as we've just moved house I'll probably spend the afternoon trying to find my maternity file!!!
