hating the sickness so have resorted to travel sickness bands, which has taken the edge off, was sick on my birthday:( but thankfully that was the only time, just about fell asleep at my desk at work on Friday:eek: only made it through my lunch then felt really crap at home all evening. Saturday started okay but by the time the evening came got all dizzy and sick again, unfortuntely both sister in laws and brother in laws were at my mother in law at the time and we haven't told them so trying not to puke was hard (we have told MIL & FIL as FIL is dying we don't know how long he has) but think one of my SIL has guessed as I started to cross stick an afgan blanket with tiny tatty teddy for baby and had taken it over, and saw her trying to see what it was;) after her husband brought up me not looking right, have my first appointment with the community midwife this week hopefully we will have a good time trying to calculate my actual due date as my monthlys were all over the place:p. Hope to those with the sickness it goes soon and to those who don't, I am not jealous!:D

I'm ok, no symptoms whatsoever. NOt sure whether to worry or not, I have my scan on the 15th so we will see. OH is not getting better, it's heartbreaking to hear what he needs to go through every day. I have my parents here till Wed and I haven't told them about the baby, I just can't face it. I think I will resort to email once the scan is over, does that make me a bad person? I only see them twice a year so would be nice to tell them in person but I'm afraid I will burst into tears now that OH is not here and I really don't want to cry in front of my parents.

kavics you are very brave and you tell them however you feel is right. dont be hard on yourself and dont add any pressure. i really pray that your OH gets better soon..hugs. xxx

if they say, when you have pain or bleeding to go to the A&E. if all they do is blood tests, then what is the point of heading there in panic? how would they check if a pregnancy is ecptopic if they dont even do scans at weekends? this puzzles me! tomorrow, am off to work and then on Wednesday, am going to call in sick (i know its really bad, but i have told my manager, however if i keep taking time for scans she might get annoyed. lol).

today i have period type cramps, and a bit of discomfort on the right as usual..was heaving in the morning, but have just felt all day. cant even drink water. feel sick and gassy.. when do the period type cramps end? I am finding it hard to find a good position to sleep in as well as i normally sleep on my belly and have been trying the sides, but its so uncomfy. ;(
off to have some water and maybe a milky bar. hehe

When I went in they had a feel around my tummy and asked loads of questions. I wasn't in pain which is why they didn't suspect an ectopic. If they do suspect it I would assume a scan becomes available as it is a serious health problem to yourself.

If in any doubt go to A&E

i went and read about ectopic preg and obv reading the symptoms, i started freaking myself out.. grrr.. then i had a pain and told hubby about it.. fingers crossed, it doesnt carry on.i suppose if i just drop and faint, i will have to go. lol. think i am making it worse than it seems. i am just paranoid about EVERYTHING!!

I still have period pains periodically though it's not as bad as at week 6, 9 and 10. It's easing now and sleeping is getting better but I feel one side of my tummy in the evenings.
