evening ladies. thought i would come on here to see if anything was posted..

so sorry lauradora. my thoughts are with you.. thats what happened to me first time, and i know how you feel. lots of hugs and be strong during this time.. you and your OH need each other loads. lots of hugs. xxx :0( i had gone on that miscarriage thread and felt so much better as sharing my experience with others with similar situations, helped. i am here if you ever need a chat. just pm me. xxx

well my weekend is going a bit. after being sent back for that scan that didnt happen, on Friday at 930, some consultant was phoning me like mad. i missed his 3 calls as was at the bus stop and when i tried to call back, the epu was obviously closed, so i panicked and got frustrated. there was a voicemail saying to go and get a scan on Tuesday. i had no name, and no time for a scan.texted DH as he was out, and his response annoyed me as he just said not to worry... anyway i calmed myself down.

then yesterday as in laws were here, the consultant rang again and the phone was near me and in panic i missed it. so i called back and luckily he had left his name. he had called me after my blood test and said i should go for a scan on tuesday so i said i was booked in for the week after and he said to go asap. that worried me so as i started asking questions, i could tell he was getting annoyed with me. i said i couldnt go on tues so will do on wednesday so back at the epu clinic.. without an appointment. i guess because i was complaining about my right side, he said its better to scan to see whether it is ectopic? so i am worrying now.. :(

does anyone have that constant uncomfy feeling just below? mine is there eveveryday. its not a sharp pain or somehing that is making me scream or cry but i still cant stop thinking about it. and me thinking of it is prob making it worse. plus my nausea is so yuck that i dont want to eat anything or drink anything. i was heaving like mad yesterday. yuck! dont even want water. everythings yuck! am so exhausted today so have just sat down all day being lazy..

anyone else have that pain please? or am i panicking for no reason?

If you had complained of pain in your right side they may just be calling you back to rule out an ectopic. Pain in one side can be a sign of an ectopic but not always. You get so many different aches and pains in your abdomen during pregnancy and often people get more of them on one side as your uterus doesn't move forward from both side equally. Usually the right side moves forward first so you can get more twinges on that side.
It's better that they scan you sooner rather than later to check it out. It doesn't mean that is definitely what is happening but they have to cover themselves and look after you.

Hi everyone, not posted for ages as I've been falling asleep practically as soon as I've got home from work most evenings. Been tryuing to keep up through the daily email digest though.

Had a private scan and the NHS combined NT test and all fine so far, so am keeping my fingers crossed. Am now 15+5 so am heading on over to next thread.

Before I go, I just wanted to say I am really sorry for your loss lauradora. My friend had a similar experience at 12wk scan and it was heartbreaking. She's since gone on to have a healthy baby girl, so I will keep my fingers crossed for you. In the meantime, huge hugs to you xxx

thanks emsbet.. i always worry.. i used to suffer from IBS like i had already mentioned but like you said, i want to rest as well knowing that everything is happening in the right place. i calculated how far i am and yesterday, i was 6 weeks. surely they can see something now right? i know not a lot, but things like something is there etc etc.. i wish i could get scanned everyday. hahaha.. so will go on wednesday and tell the nurse that the consultant urged me as she was the one who sent me back out.. grrr

I've had scans at six weeks and it is possible to see at the very least the fetal pole and egg sac. You may also be able to see the heartbeat but not always as babies can vary by a few days I'm their development and also it depends on how good the hospital equipment is.

Just wanted to send massive hugs to lauradora - I'm so sorry that you've had such a heartbreaking experience. I hope you have lots of support around you at the moment, and as previously mentioned, I know a lot of ladies who've had miscarriages have gained a lot of support from the miscarriage support thread on here.

Rups I hope the scan on Wednesday goes well. Did the consultant give you any information as to why they wanted you to go in so soon? You never know, it could be that you're carrying twins and they want to find out early.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.
