no need to fret, at that point embryo is still implanting, and isn't taking anything from you at all. I think the dangers of soft cheeses is that you may catch listeria and be very poorly which could put baby at risk. Obviously you're fine, so no need to worry!Little monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -
phew.. see how anxious i am at everything!??? i must be calm!!! i had to tell my kung fu teacher that i cant be doing that for a while, as its so intense and the doc yesterday warned me to stay away from hectic workouts esp as i had a mc before. i amnot complaining! hehe am ready to give up that sort of exercise now. woo hooBecame Mrs H on the 1st of October 2011!!

thanks dizsie...last time i was kind of ok about mayday (oops university hehe), but have heard so much rubbish about it, i have now decided against it. even when i had to decide where to have my procedure, the gp said not to go there and St thomas's was better. are you in Cr too?
Not in Croydon - have a CR postcode but technically live under Surrey Council...just!
We are just as close to E Surrey so thats the hospital we have gone for, although I would have preferred Mayday but because our GP comes under Surrey & Sussex Healthcare Trust its two different PCTs & it causes chaos for blood tests, midwife etc.:jBaby Boy born December 20120 -

oh ok.. we are in addiscombe rather than actual croydon. i was in two minds about mayday and some people say its ok and some not.. saying that the princee university hosp in farnborough is not far and seems better.. i just hated the waiting around for tests, scans etc.. i know avoiding it wont help but the experience from last time, has just made me not to want to go any EPU clinic. silly i know.Became Mrs H on the 1st of October 2011!!

Hi ladies.. hope i can join again please?
Having had a mc three months ago, i am quite pleased (and scared too) to find my positive yesterday... am a bit nervous and scared as hell as last time didnt go so well... this time i am having more period type pains. is that normal? I think i am around 4 weeks. went to a gp but as always they are uselss, so seeing a gynae at the same doctirs surgery who will refer me etc etc.. i also had a little bleed when my period was due, and that freaked me out. I was told yest that that is common.. i dont know and will never know what is normal or not? am trying not to freak out and try and be calm but i would be lying if i said i wasnt scared.. sorry long post. xxx
Glad to see you back, Rups32
You're bound to worry about this pregnancy because of your horrible experience last time. Light bleeding at the time your period is due is really, really common and nothing to worry about. Try to realise that the next few months are going to be quite difficult, but hang on in there. It's all good"Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0 -
Just popping in to say congratulations to Rups! It's understandable you will be nervous after what happened last time but there are lots of us about on all three threads who are pregnant after a loss so there are plenty of people to offer you support should you need it. Feel free to pm me if you ever need to chat. I keep thinking of starting a thread for ladies who are pregnant after a loss (even got as far as writing the OP) but then I worry I'll jinx myself
Anyway just wanted to offer you some congratulations.

I've so far tried:
Gingers biscuits
Other dry biscuits
Dry toast
Eating little and often
Fruit
Fruit juice
Ginger in products (such as ginger and rhubarb jam on toast)
Soup
Cereal bars
Crackers
Sipping water slowly
Obviously not all at once - then I would be sick
Nothing seems to be helping at all. I have the odd day where I am ok and just retch, but the last 3-4 days I have literally been sick after every meal (but sometimes not for up to 4 hours after having it).
My tummy is hurting everytime I am sick or retch now.
I haven't tried advacados tho MoneypennyI don't think I actually like them tho.
I kind of am well enough to be at work. In between being sick (which like I say, can be 4 hours apart, sometimes more) I am 'ok' - just queasy. My job is easy - I sit on reception and do some book work, speak to customers etc. I have a toilet within easy access. My boss (brother) is off today as its his little boys 1st birthday. We had a new mechanic start on monday, so we couldn't leave him on his own at the garage on his 3rd day. My brother would have cancelled his day out, but I would only be sat at home feeling sorry for myself instead of sat here.
I am getting worried about the fluids thing now. Am finding it harder and harder to make myself eat and drink when I know its coming back up.
Maybe I should ring the midwife or GP tomorrow if its still no better.
My DD has gone to her dads for the weekend now, and I normally miss her loads, but I'm actually quite relieved not to have to do the school run and entertain her before DH gets home.I will still miss her, but just feel like I need to get better now.
I vommed about five or six times a day until about week 14 (and a few times afterwards). It was one of the most miserable experiences of my life and nothing really helped although it's probably true to say that eating little and often is better than not eating/eating infrequently/eating big meals.
I know I'm not of much help, but I do really sympathise and I wanted to let you know that once things calmed down (as they will for you too) I felt fantastic!
Luckily I didn't seem to get dehydrated (small sips of water all day). If you feel you're not getting enough fluids, you must see your GP or midwife."Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0 -
Thanks so much everyone, thanks emsbet. how sweet of you. Yes i am trying to enjoy this more and just hope for the best. when i saw the blood, i firstly got sad that my period was on its way but then when i did the test as my period is always on time (touchwood), i was happy but also still in that surreal state of mind.
will enjoy it. promise. xxxx thanks so much again. emsbet that is a great idea starting a new thread.
