Been worrying today a) that I need to tell my Head that I'm pregnant but also b) that I've not felt as ill today- maybe something is wrong?!
went to GP & he says my BP is high (which is what consultant said on Friday too but I just thought it was a one-off?) so now I;m worrying about that too.
Off to bed now & hopefully I'll feel calmer in the morning, night all xMarried my wonderful husband February 2013!:happyhearI want to wear my beautiful wedding dress everyday- it would make shopping so much more fun, I mean, people go shopping in their pyjamas these days.......Must STOP spending!!!Proud to be dealing with my debts!0 -

Morning ladies
LadyM, glad the hospital are taking all precautions, hope you get some answers today.
I've made it into work for the first time in 2 weeks! (although I was on hols last week!) not feeling too shabby today, managed to get up without too much of a struggle and even had some breakfast before driving to work. My sickness seems to come and go, I wasn't sick at all Friday/Sunday, and only slightly sick on Saturday night, but then yesterday I spent all morning throwing up.
Today feels like it's going to be a good day, so fingers crossed I'll catch up on some of the work I'm meant to have donejust finished wading through my emails, nothing seems to have gone crazy in my absence.

Morning ladies (and Woot if you are lurking
)
LadyM - hope everything is going ok. Keep thinking of you, please let us know how you are getting on when you get chance.
Welcome & congratulations Savagehoutkop :j
Emylou - hope you are feeling better this morning. I am going to tell my boss today too (hes also my brother). The sickness is getting quite bad, and unpredictable so I'd rather he knew at this stage. Not telling our parents til the weekend tho - so hopefully he will keep it a secret!
Yayyy for being scan buddies Dizsiebubba :T:j What time is your scan at? Am very excited for it already. Only 22 sleeps to go:D
Moneypenny - Hope you don't get the sickness badly. I read that it usually doesn't kick in til you are about 6 weeks - which kind of tied in for me. Hopefully it was just a one off for you this morning. I think it depends on how well the mother and baby are doing with twins, but I think the longest they usually leave them is 38 weeks? I'm not sure at all tho - so hopefully someone else who knows will come along to answer that one for you.
Littlemoog - yay for being able to go back to work. My sickness is mainly sticking around - but some days are much worse than others. Sunday was fine - didn't even retch and actually managed to eat some food and enjoy it. Yesterday and today are badReally struggling to find something I fancy and also keep things down. DH made me eat a ginger biccie in bed this morning before getting up but that came straight back up again a few minutes later and I can't seem to face anything else. Am getting a little concerned over how little I am eating / keeping down - but the midwife said not to worry about it too much. At least I have a few fat reserves already so it won't do me any harm to lose a few lbs. Just be nice not to feel so rubbish all the time.
We have (ok, I have) invited friends over for tea on thursday night to tell them, but now I'm worried as I am so fussy on eating at the mo, and not particularly wanting to cook. Evenings seem to be worse for me for eating, I can normally manage some breakfast fine, and struggle through some lunch but by teatime I can only manage a mouthful or 2 sometimes. DH says we should cancel them coming but I think it would be nice to have a distraction from it all and would be nice to see some friendly faces. Don't really know what to do for the best yet....Married my lobster in July 2011

Sorry to hear you had to stay in overnight LadyM. Hope it all goes well today and the scan shows baby is ok.
Emylou try not to worry if some days you feel ok. It's perfectly normal for symptoms like this to come and go in waves. Make the most of days when you don't feel so sick. I would tell your head ASAP as you don't want to put yourself at unnecessary risk. As a supply teacher I never know what situations I may face on any day so I told my agency fairly early on. They can then tell the schools I work in so that they can do risk assessments.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170 -

Go out for tea! I've found I'm much better at eating if I don't have to prepare/think about it beyond ordering off a menu! I felt grotty all day on Thursday, but managed to eat shepherds pie and veg in the evening and felt so much better. It's the kind of food I've been craving, but not up to making for the last few weeks.Little monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -

Takeaways? I'm also much happier with a menu than with cooking in advance at the moment. On the weekend I was down to almost no symptoms at all and was starting to get a bit worried but they're mostly back now. And, of course, once you've told them there will be lots of sympathy for the symptoms!0 -
