I haven't seen any maternity clothes from Next yet and I've looked in a couple of their stores. I won't order from them without trying on as I find their clothes often don't fit me due to my apple shape - I think they cut their clothes for pear shaped ladies! I was once trying on a pair of work trousers in there, and to get them to do up around my waist I needed a size 22, when in most shops i'm a 16/18! Not good for my mood at the time!
Tadaa, if you have an M&P shop near you, I thought their clothes were lovely, lots of nice tops and dresses, and all nice quality. A lot smarter than what I'd seen in mothercare and new look.
Congratulations on the 12 week scan, can't wait for mine! 2 and a half weeks to go!Little monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -

Pangs have turned into sharp pains in my lower right abdomen now.
My shoulder also hurts but that's probably unrelated.
I'm seeing my GP tomorrow anyway just to confirm things. My psych said that it's also important that I do due to my long history of Anorexia, which could potentially cause problems.
I'm a little bit scared.:o2019 Wins

LadyM, I'm sorry to have to write this, I don't want to add to your stresses, but shoulder pain with cramps can be a symptom of ectopic pregnancy. If it's really bad, you should ring the epu (early pregnancy unit) for advice, or consider going to your local A&E. If it's not that bad, mention it to your GP tomorrow anyway.Little monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160

I second this. Where abouts in your shoulder is the pain. Pain related to ectopic pregnancy tends to be at the tip of your shoulder.

I don't have bleeding or anything, which I thought was symptomatic of an ectopic pregnancy. It's a doubling kind of pain, but not a alarming "It can't wait. I must get help now" kind of thing if that makes sense?
I keep reading conflicting things online which isn't helping!2019 Wins

Um...on the tip of my shoulder? :oBut I have alot of shoulder problems anyway, which is why I'm not sure if it's related to the pregnancy or whether it's just a variation on the shoulder pain I already get, if that makes sense?2019 Wins

Tricky one. Is it the same kind of pain you feel normally or is it different? I think the shoulder pain you get with an ectopic is quite a unique pain and unlike other pains of the shoulder.
Here's what the Ectopic Pregnancy Trust website says
Shoulder tip pain
This may be due to internal bleeding irritating the diaphragm (the muscle in your chest which helps you to breathe) when you breathe in and out. Shoulder tip pain is exactly where it says – not the neck or the back but the tip of your shoulder. If you look to the left over your shoulder and then cast your eyes down, the tip of your shoulder is where your shoulder ends and your arm starts.
Shoulders cause pain when we are stressed because we hold ourselves more rigidly, and muscles in the back and neck go in to spasm – this is not shoulder tip pain. Shoulder tip pain is very distinctive. You know when you have it because it is a very ‘weird’ pain you have probably never had in your life before (unless you had pain of this nature with gall stones).
If you take 2 paracetamol, which are known to be safe in pregnancy providing you have taken this medicine in the past without problems, apply a cold pack to your shoulder for 10 minutes, and 30 minutes later your shoulder pain has eased, that is unlikely to be ectopic related shoulder pain. However if in any doubt consult your doctor about it.
Website is here
I think the best thing to do is if you are in any doubt call the hospital or that new 101 non-emergency number maybe? I'm not trying to scare you but just want to make sure you're ok.

Lady M, since the pain is at the tip of your shoulder, unless it's typical of your normal problem, I'd call the hospital to get checked out, or maybe NHS direct could offer some advice?
My sister had an ectopic pg last year and ended up with emergency surgery, she was v poorly as it wasn't found until late on. Best to get checked out as soon as possible if you think it might be that.:oLittle monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160
