hi everyone
abis21- sorry to hear you have a cold on top of pregnancy symtpoms, i hate having a blocked nose and trying to sleep as well, hope it eases up a bit for you and you manage to get some sleep.
dizeibubba- sounds like a good idea to have a list, i miss being on the ttc list, have added my details to the list below, hope they are ok.didnt realise how close we are!
and i dont think fast food for one day will make much different, ive been suffering with sickness and trying to eat something more often and it does seem to be working, really had a fancy for swede on the weekend for some strange reason.
Those who are <12 weeks:
Dizsiebubba (24) EDD 21/11/12 No other children. 12 weeks on 8th May 2012.
cleofish (29) EDD 28/11/12 no other children (2 mcs) 12 weeks on 9th may 2012 (i think depending on my cycle length)0 -
Hiya
Would it be ok if I joined, I was told on sunday by the hospital that I was around 5 weeks gone, and have low progesterone levels which has frighteneed the life out of me,
I am finding the docs etc dont really want to know, partly because they are all seemingly believe I will mc (because of the low levels) , and not interested until 12 weeks really
sorry ladies sound ranty because I am over the moon as I have PCOS and we didnt think it would be this easy and all of a sudden I find out I am pg but with the docs all metaphorically sucking their teeth whistling and saying well I dont know..
They may be right, but until it happens I am not giving up, I want this peanut so much
errr sorry in real life I appear calm and collected about this but apparently I am more worried than I thought !!!
thank you for the offload"I havent failed, Ive found 10,000 ways that dont work" Thomas Edison

Aw, sweetie. That's sad that they're not interested. Low progesterone levels doesn't automatically mean that you will miscarry. I think that they should be giving you lots of support.:(

Hi Euri,
Welcome to the thread of stress
I hope that everything works out, keep up the positive vibes. Unfortunately/Fortunately Doctors don't know everything. I was told that it would be almost impossible that I would ever get pregnant and am now pregnant with my 3rd.
As LM says, Low progesterone doesn't necessarily mean the worst.Overdraft = £1000 Emergency fund = £2500

Thanks so much both
I am usually a fairly pragmatic person and have turned into a weepy blob lol
I keep reading online that it may be ok, and am hoping desperately that will be the case
LM I asked the doc and she completely dismissed me, and although I d read stuff saying they were still used now, was frustrated when she dismissed them as old hat
but thank you again both, I am crossing everything and doing what I can to protect peanut,
Support to yourselves as well 0 this under 12 week malarkey is tougher than I thought!!"I havent failed, Ive found 10,000 ways that dont work" Thomas Edison

Euri, remember that hormones have a lot to answer for. They will making every thing seem a hundred times worse. It is perfectly normal to burst into tears over everything.Overdraft = £1000 Emergency fund = £2500

In my opinion, doctors should do all they can to make sure you keep your baby! Can you maybe ask for a second opinion?
