Hi ladym Im veggie too but haven't craved meat. The smell of it cooking doesn't repulse me so much though but raw meat smell still makes me feel sick. I've seemed to crave chips and salty things but as kitten said, they aren't si strong that I must have them now.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170

            Evening ladies
LadyM, sorry to hear you're feeling so worried about morning sickness. I have to admit, I really hate being sick so I was really worried about it too. So far my morning sickness is nowhere near as bad as I feared. I've only been sick a handful of times, and it's nothing like a bilious attack/tummy upset (which i used to get a lot as a child). If you start feeling queasy, which you hopefully won't for a few weeks at least, try eating something small every 1.5-2 hours. It's really helped me, been much better the last couple of days.
My worst symptom so far is the tiredness, which comes in waves. It makes me feel like just lying down wherever I am and going to sleep.
Went to my newest niece's baptism today, it was a lovely service and she was so good, although she looked so shocked/indignant when Father poured the water over her:rotfl: Can't wait til it's our turn next year
Day of jobs tomorrow before dinner with DH's dad and stepmum. Housework has really gone to pot the last few weeks as I've felt so tired, and DH has been away for 2 whole weekends so we're going to blitz the whole house, and hopefully weed the drive and garden too, if the rain holds off.Little monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 2016 0 0

Thank you. That made me feel better.
I'm used to extreme exhaustion with the M.E and I'm bedbound/housebound alot so worried about the extra strain of the pregnancy on top of that, but I'm going to go to the GP this week and talk to her about it. My GP is fantastic. Best GP I could ask for.
I know I'm only 5 weeks gone but I keep worrying about what are normal symptoms. I've had a really bad headache for the past 2 days and am really thirsty and keep getting "pangs" in my abdomen (but not pain, if that makes sense?) Gah. I worry about everything.:L
I keep joking that DH might get a "sympathy" belly.:rotfl:

Has anyone here used Sea-Bands?I have severe emetophobia, which is a fear of throwing up, and that aspect of pregnancy is really making me panic. I don't want to take any unnecessary drugs during pregnancy but read about Sea-Bands and I was wondering if they have helped anyone here?
I suffered quite badly from Morning Sickness between about 12-15 weeks so invested in some sea bands. I only had the problem when I was at work and I think I was worrying and stressing about it which made it worse. So I was signed off for a week and got some sea bands during that time. Since then I wear them every morning as soon as I get to work then take them off after I've eaten my lunch. Works for me really well and I have only been sick once whilst wearing them. Hubby thinks it's all psychological but I don't care, if it's working thats fine by me! Am now nearly 19 weeks and feeling much better but still wearing them 'just in case'.0

            Evening Ladies
Hope you all had a lovely easter :EasterBun
I've been away for a few nights with DH whilst DD was at her dads. Unfortunately I have a stinky cold and sore throat tho, so most of my time was spent sleeping and resting and trying to breathe - which is becoming an issue when I am bunged up like I am! Haven't been able to sleep well on a night due to the breathing issues - coupled with the increased weeing!
And then I have also been feeling quite queasy now - altho haven't been sick as yet. I have had my sick bucket near me most of the weekend. Last time round it seemed a lot easier to keep at bay - as I just ate more often and once I had eaten I was fine. This time round eating isn't seeming to cure it - and in fact sometimes eating is making me feel ill afterwards. I haven't gone off any foods, and I am just trying to eat healthily - but I think I am going to try having my normal meal, but spread it out over a few hours. So say for breakfast if I was going to have 2 slices of toast - then have 1 at my normal time and 1 a couple of hours later. See how that goes. I've had my tea in 2 stages tonight and that seems to have settled a little better, so fingers crossed.
Think the cold and pregnancy symptoms are making each other worse tho - so hoping once the cold has gone that I will feel lots better.
Can't believe its back to work tomorrow tho. Would definately love some more time off!! Married my lobster in July 2011 Married my lobster in July 2011

Just had a loooooooooooong chat with my psych. I had to tell her I'm pregnant because I'm on medication. She said that I'm actually probably 3 weeks pregnant, rather than 5! (which makes me feel better about how long I've been taking my meds without knowing I'm pregnant!).2019 Wins

LM, when they calculate the pregnancy they will calculate it from your last period. 2 weeks before you are pregnant they will calculate as being pregnant, I think it is just to confuse things So although you are 5 weeks pregnant you will only have had a baby being formed for 3 weeks. Overdraft = £1000 Emergency fund = £2500 So although you are 5 weeks pregnant you will only have had a baby being formed for 3 weeks. Overdraft = £1000 Emergency fund = £2500

So who is still on here who is <12 weeks and how far gone are you now?? I wish we had a list like on the TTC board. Perhaps we could have a running one so each new person to the list adds themselves in EDD order with the nearest being at the top and then re-posts it?
 I will start:
 Those who are <12 weeks:
Dizsiebubba (24) EDD 21/11/12 No other children. 12 weeks on 8th May 2012.

Thanks. It is confusing! Doesn't help that my periods are irregular from the years of Anorexia (which I still struggle with!).
The first day of my last period was 1st March (thank goodness for iPod period apps lol).2019 Wins
