yeah, I'm trying to eat something every 1.5-2 hours, and cut down the size of my evening meal as i'm finding that even if we eat at 7, when I go to bed at 10 I feel stuffed and it's really uncomfy.

Yesterday though I threw up every meal and snack during the day, and all the water I tried to drink. Managed to keep down dinner and a couple of small glasses of water in the evening, but woke up at 4am starving and really thirsty! I normally drink 2-3 litres of water per day, but that seems to overload my tummy at the moment, so I'm trying to keep sipping small amounts throughout the day today.

My boobs were incredibly sore from about a week before my bfp, but they've eased off in the last week (am now 8+3)

Good news about the scan dizsiesbubba. I can't wait to start telling people (although due to the succession of hen weekends in the last few weeks, most of our friends know already!) I really want to tell my sisters this weekend at niece's baptism when we're all together, but should probably wait a few more weeks as will still only be 9 weeks. Sister no4 never told anyone til after scans for her 2, Sister no1 just before 12 week scan as we were all together that weekend, and Sister no2 told us at 10 weeks. Brother on the other hand told us all at 5 weeks, too excited to keep stum!

    Hi Laura,
when I had my booking in appointment the midwife told me that all sorts of cramps/twinges are normal, but to ring if I was concerned, and especially if the cramps were intensely painful, or made me double over etc.

I also had terrible indigestion/acid reflux, started about 6 weeks. I got ranitidine from my GP which has sorted it completely.

Yayyyy for the scan Kavics :D Hope you had an amazing time away. Bet its fantastic now your OH knows and its no longer a secret :j

Lauradora - I have had loads of twinges n things which are unusual, but not intense or anything like that - more like little grumblings. Lots of things are stretching and changing, so its bound to feel a little different. If you are worried tho - ring the midwife - thats what they are there for.

I have my booking in appt at the midwives :j:j:j A week on monday :j:j:j Luckily we are planning on telling my DD just before then as she isn't at school that day and if I tried to get someone to look after her then there would be questions asked. So she will get to come with me, which she will be thrilled about :D

I heard baby's heartbeat on the Doppler again this morning :D and it managed to stay still long enough for DD to have a listen too.
