I can't stop worrying about miscarriage
It is constantly on my mind... I don't think i could possible face it either, I lost my beautiful nanny at the start of the year i don't think i could lose my baby too
OH is so excited he keeps saying 'the 3 of us' and sometimes when we cuddle up i say to him 'who do you love most in the world?' and he usually says 'errrrmmmm you!' and its a bit of a game we play and the other night i asked him and he said 'our baby' aaahhhhh
I think it would ruin him too if anything happened.
I think its the cramping that worries me the most:jBaby Boy born December 20120 -

Everyone does, sweetheart. You can't help it. Best thing is to try to keep busy (notwithstanding the pregnancy exhaustion of course!). Worry has no chance against a mind that's full of other thoughts.

morning ladies
just back from my booking in appointment with the midwife, with 3 tonnes of leaflets to readDH came with me, as he's on hols today, and it was really helpful to see the hospital, and where the labour wards are etc. He says he's glad he came, as now he knows all about what appointments I'll have and what they're all for etc.
He's off for another stag weekend in a bit, and I'm feeling a bit forlornworking at home this afternoon, so will try and distract myself with work. need to make some brownies as well, I'm off to the corresponding hen party tonight. Not going to the saturday part though, as it's cocktail making and clubbing, which isn't really my scene at the moment. I looove cocktails too, so it would be so hard to resist.
dizsie - midwife told me that cramps are totally normal, and I should only ring in if I was doubling over in pain, or bleeding/leaking fluid too. Try not to worry, there's lots of rearranging going on in there, so it's bound to feel a bit weird. I keep getting a shooting pain up my foof, lasts for a second and then nothing for hours!Little monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -
hi everyone,
moneypuddle- congrats on your scan sounds amazing especially clapping the hands as well and to hear the heartbeat.
dizzibubba- i agree with fluff nutter, i know its hard to do, but try and keep your mind busy, try and plan other things especially in the first 12 weeks to look forward to other than the scans.
I know personally for me, i am trying to guard my heart a bit, keep myself busy and im trying to think whatever happens happens, i cant stop a mc happening by worrying about it.
With the cramps as well, ive had some and loads of women have them, it can be the stretching of the ligaments at the beginning so try not to worry too much.fingers crossed everything will be ok for you and the first 12 weeks will go quick for you.
How many weeks are you? (sorry if you have already told me, my memory is bad)

When you see what physical changes are happening inside, a few cramps seem like nothing. Take a look at the link if I have loaded it properly.Overdraft = £1000 Emergency fund = £2500

Kavics, you can take anti histamines if you need them, just speak to the doctor first. I had a severe allergic reaction and the hospital gave me steroids and fexofenadine. I had bleeding so had an early scan, and the doctor there told me thay piriton is sometimes given to women suffering badly wjth morning sickness as it alleviates pregnancy symptoms.
The dr said that he wouldn't recommend it as hayfever tablets were only tested on pregnant rats and not on humans therefore they don't know the effects. He didn't say anything about piriton:(, I really suffer today, my eyes are going yo-yo and I look horrible.
All good otherwise, I'm still very tired but the weekend is nearly on so will rest a lot. Will go swimming too, first time in 3 weeks!
THat video is AMAZING!!!0 -

hi guys
congrats on your scan moneypuddle!
I had mine yesterday and they said all looks fine, and the size seems fine. I was a bit confused that they didn't mention my due date, so I guess that means it's just stayed the same? Will be 13wks tomorrow, so I guess I should scooch on over to the other thread.
Dizsie, I know how you feel, I think everyone feels like that. I had 2 early scans, and even after that I'd convinced myself that I must be making it all up in my head. Was quite shocked to see a baby mocing about on the screen yesterday.0
