At the moment the bras are still ok as they were a bit lousy in the past month or so (I lost 5lbs so maybe that's why) but I can feel them getting fuller. I'm dreading of bra shopping and I'm dreading of huge boobs, my poor back is going to kill me:(.
  • LittleMoog - you're such a font of knowledge! I had no idea about that so thank you :) I hope you get it all sorted soon (i.e. when you see the consultant next week!). ps. hope you're feeling better today.

Thanks bikelesschick, but I only knew that my thyroid condition could be a problem in pregnancy as I heard a program about it on Radio 4 a few years ago - no GP has ever bothered to tell me! I bet lots of people don't actually know anything about it.

That's a sahme no GP ever mentioned to you. I guess they can't know it all about everything :(

I'm going away tomorrow morning for the weekend. It's DH's friend's wedding and I'm quite looking forward to it. Saying that, I'm a little scared of what might be served during the meal and buffet :o I might bring a few bits with me and leave them in the car just in case;)

    Have a lovely weekend everyone!

Hello. We had our 12 week scan yesterday. It was a really lovely experience. The photo was so clear and the baby clapped his/her hands, and wriggled lots and just looked gorgeous. I felt so proud. We then went to see the midwife and she hooked up the Doppler and let us listen to the heartbeat for the first time. OH was grinning from ear to ear. It was just lovely. The measurements were taken for the nuchal test and I had my blood taken but we were told we look to be low risk already :-)

I'm really suffering with hayfever, it's such a shame there is nothing I can take while pregnant. Also have itchy eyes but I use contact lenses so can only use moisturizing drops.

I can feel my breasts changing, when do I need to change my bras? Is there a certain time you should get measured?

Kavics, you can take anti histamines if you need them, just speak to the doctor first. I had a severe allergic reaction and the hospital gave me steroids and fexofenadine. I had bleeding so had an early scan, and the doctor there told me thay piriton is sometimes given to women suffering badly wjth morning sickness as it alleviates pregnancy symptoms.
I have had many Light Bulb Moments. The trouble is someone keeps turning the bulb off :o
