Morning all
Went for my thyroid blood tests this morning, why is it that you can turn up 15 minutes before the clinic opens and still have 25 people in front of you in the queue! Took forever, only just got into work now

Scan went great, there is a little person inside of me lol. They have put me forward to 13 weeks. I cried a little bit when she said she could see the heartbeat My OH cried too.

Sonographer said baby was stubborn cos it was curled up so she couldnt measure it and I said nah it's just lazy like it's dad is and then the baby took offence and started wiggling and waving it's arms and legs like mad lol.

Congratulations Ikkle! Glad it all went well Can't wait for my scan, 4 weeks on Monday!

Thought I was feeling better today, the lady who sits next to me is wearing a different perfume which isn't as offensive (and she's off for a month after today, woop! :j). Was just in the ladies when the air freshener went off though, and ended up gagging/retching. Lucky I was already in the loo, and no one else was in there!

Congratulations Ikkle!! So glad scan went well.

I might have booked an early private scan for next week... we are going to visit OH's parents in Poland and it only costs me £10 so decided to go for it:))).

Mine's tomorrow. I'm really excited but also totally bricking it. Still haven't quite decided whether to have the nuchal test or not. We're booked to have it, but I just can't decide if there's any point.

ooh, exciting scan news Kavics and Snowbean! I may have just looked up getting a private early scan, and you can get them in milton keynes which is near-ish to where I live. It's £100 though :eek: so your one in Poland seems like a bargain Kavics!

I'm getting fed up of spending all afternoon feeling queasy, I feel sick if I eat too much or too little at lunchtime, can't seem to strike the right balance. Making it very hard to concentrate on what I'm supposed to be doing (hence why I'm on here ), I really need my whole brain to read scientific papers! :rotfl:
